ANIME POLL (VINCE)

Zach, i don’t know you and you don’t know me. But, one thing i do know, is that you will be blown away by the Manga. I can’t recommend enough how much better it is than the anime. I fell in love with Tokyo Ghoul’s anime first, but the moment i read the manga, i almost hated the anime in comparison. I can’t guarantee the same results, but i urge you beyond measure to try reading it.

just because someone hasn’t finished it doesn’t mean they don’t alr have an opinion formed around the anime 😭😭 the exact same thing happened with me for hxh i stopped at season 5 even tho i thoroughly enjoyed it up until that point. i get that some shows could fs drastically change ur opinion based on plot points even after the halfway point but having finished it i don’t think hxh is one of them.

Tokyo Ghoul is the show that got me into watching anime. Is so dang good from start to finish. Vinland Saga and Hunter X Hunter are both very very good as well. My Hero isnt bad, but it airs on the more childish side at certain points, but outside of that its a good show.

Hey, I don’t know if you’ve seen it you must have if you’re into anime but if you haven’t, I would love it if you watched Akira. It’s an amazing Japanese animation film. That is a must watch.

It goes either way honestly, some subbed moments are better and some dubbed moments are better. I just prefer the dubbed over subbed.🙂

Maybe the manga is better than the anime. That tends to be the case a lot. It became a struggle for me about mid way through season 3 or 4 i cant remember. Season was going great then suddenly it became a slice of life anime in the classroom. Was such a drastic change and felt more like filler which made it a struggle to finish the season. Apparently that was in the manga too so i wasnt filler though.

My personal opinion of My Hero Academia, you should watch it dubbed. English dubbed My Hero is really good.

I respectfully disagree, I’ve been watching the current season of My Hero and season 6 both arcs mind u are making it pick back up, and I got a friend who’s reading the manga ahead of the anime and it’s only gonna get better.

I agree. I havent watched the latest seasons. The problem with My hero is that the seasons always starts strong then around the half way point the whole tone of the show changes. Like going from an action anime to a slice of life anime.

Even though i voted for Vinland Saga as it one of my favourite of all time i would still prefer you watch that one with Shoshana. Its a deep emotional story with some complex characters. I think you both would enjoy it. Plus its animated by the same studio who did Attack on Titan so im sure you would both be able to appreciate the art style.

Hunter x Hunter is so so good, I actually never finished it though and only got to episode 60 or something like that. I dont know why I stopped watching it but I have been meaning to start it back up so it would be cool to see it win here or at some other point down the line.
