Vince was so tired at the end of the movie trying to keep his eyes open 😂 I know that feeling

Ironman 2, Thor, Captain America and then Avengers. Btw love the chemistry in y’all’s reactions. Y’all make my think of an adult version of Hiko and Naomi in the Yumeko Comic Series

Miracle Comics

There was another Hulk movie prior to this one and it showed how he became the Hulk. Different actor too. But the Hulk in that movie looked a little bit more cartoony

BadMoon84

iron man 2 is the next movie in release order

SavageDiplomat

release order is the only order

SavageDiplomat

They are watching in release order, so its Iron Man 2 > Thor > Captain America > The Avengers for phase 1. This way the end credits make most sense.

Captain America next!!

Even tho its's far from my favorite MCU movie, I'm happy you've seen this one, it gives some good foundation for some characters in the future. Many people skip this one and goes straight into Iron Man 2

Rippan

Great reaction. Now, time for Iron Man 2!!

So unlike Iron Man who is more inspired by his main Earth-616 version, Earth-616 being Marvel's mainline universe since 1939 in the comics. The origin story of the Hulk featured in this film pulls heavily from Earth-1610 also known as the Ultimate Universe a new universe from the 2000s acting as a updated modernized version of Marvel characters to make them more relatable to a new generation yet this film still puts it's own MCU spin on it that connects it to Earth-616 as well. The Ultimate Universe origin has Bruce Banner being commissioned by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson's character) to recreate the Super Solider Serum which didn't work as planned and instead turned Banner into the Hulk. Visually the MCU Hulk looks like his Earth-616 counterpart as the Ultimate Hulk was Gray instead of Green with a few other changes as well to his character. But should note that the Hulks was originally meant to be grey but due to ink problems Hulk's colour was changed to green but Stan Lee ended up liking the green colour. For the MCU Banner Is also trying to recreate the Super Solider serum but instead of Nick Fury it's Ross hoping to recreate it. This fails, and the exposure to the gamma radiation causes Banner to transform into the Hulk. They pretty much pulled the Super Solider aspect from Ultimate Universe and then exposure to Gamma radiation from Earth-616. We don't really see his origin in this film but that's the general backstory we're given in this film. Earth-616 Bruce was bombarded with a massive dose of gamma rays while saving Rick Jones, a kid who was out on the test site. This was cased by a Gamma bomb which is pretty much a nuke with extreme amounts of Gamma radiation fitting the whole 1960s Cold War setting of Nukes appearance in the 1960s. Overall fun film that is greatly overshadowed for a range of reasons. I'd say a good 50% of the MCU fandom forget that this film even takes place in the MCU even though Tony Stark shows up at the end. Big reason is the recast of Bruce Banner but it's still very much an MCU movie.

The reason they changed this hulk and recasted cause they felt as this hulk is to aggressive and not family friendly so it would’ve Neva worked out for future movies also I think actor change because something happened in the contract and Edward Norton wasn’t with it but don’t take my word for it

Eric Martini

Fun fact. The security guard he gave the pizza to as a bribe was the actor who played the original Hulk in the tv show from the 70's and 80's. It's another neat cameo I think. You can see why he was cast as The Hulk. 20 some odd years later and he's still a huge guy!

JORDAN HANSEN

Sure it'll get mentioned a lot, but the guard he gave the pizza to is the original Hulk. Lou Ferrigno, an ex pro bodybuilder from NY. He's also deaf. You can see him in the doc Pumping Iron with Arnold.

Jonny Kerr (JK)

Underrated movie for me tbh. It's kinda slow in the beginning but the fights make up for it
