It’s the internet, I never expect anyone to read or care about what I write. I just hope that if they do, they find it useful or interesting. Also, sorry for being passionate about the subject.

Future reference don’t type all this thinking anyone gonna read a damn word

Really great reaction, glad you liked the movie. If you ever start watching more marvel movies, there's a few things that might be good to know, like for example, many of the earlier marvel movies made before the start of the MCU were produced by either 21st century Fox or Sony, meaning they had licensed the rights for certain characters like the X-men and Spider-man, from Marvel, which is why those characters didn't appear in the first MCU movies. It wasn't until Marvel/Disney bought Fox and negotiated with Sony to share the rights to the characters that we got spider-man in the MCU, and later some characters from the X-men, with the overall X-men franchise soon to be introduced more in the future MCU movies. That is to say, if you ever start watching the MCU movies, Here's a list of the non-MCU movies that are good to watch if you want the most context to references in the MCU. They're roughly listed with those most important at the top, and those more optional ones at the bottom. Generally you don't really need to have watched any of these, and if you do, most can wait until after the Avengers: End Game movie: - The Sam Raimi Spider-man movies as well as the Amazing spider-man movies. - The Incredible Hulk (2008) movie (it's technically considered canon for the MCU, even though they changed the actor, and as such it's the only one i'd recommend to watch before the first avengers movie) - The first 3 X-men movies, and optionally X-men: First class, and X-men: Days of Future Past (the First Class movies are good, but not super tied into the MCU stuff, as of yet), - The Blade trilogy movies with Wesley Snipes. - The Fantastic Four movies from 2005 and 2007 (they're not considered great movies, but they do have Chris Evans playing a character similar to Tony Stark in personality. That said they're not directly tied to the MCU, but they're a decent intro to the characters if you don't know them), Also, the Tv shows Agents of Shield, Agent Carter and Inhumans are directly tied to the MCU, though never really referenced in any major way in the movies, and the netflix shows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher, are the same, but of those, only Daredevil is directly linked to any MCU movies, so that show is the only one that is "required", so to say, and of those Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Punisher are generally viewed as the best.

Blah!! Regardless of what people tell you on here about not starting with this super hero movie because you won't understand every little pun.. whatever🙄.. you both seemed to enjoy it very much and that's the whole point.. Doing a great job Shoshana & Vince😊

PastaDon

They don't even have to start with the MCU the original X-Men films would be a good place to start.

So ill give a lil more context to the paper face at the end and the constant references. So the paper face and the Actor on the "sexiest man alive" magazine is Hugh Jackman. Hugh Jackman is best known for Playing Wolverine hence the "Whose balls did i have to fondle to get my very own movie, it rhymes bolverine". Deadpool and Wolverine have a history with each other in the comics almost like a Big brother, little annoying brother relationship. Neither of them can die which you will see the 2 characters interact in the third deadpool movie coming out in 2024 which is huge to see the 2 together on the big screen for the first time. Can't wait for you guys to react to the second deadpool movie.

Anthony Frye

Right?? They really should watch Iron Man next and start the MCU journey!

Trey Mitchell

Wait FIRST Marvel movie, and it's this?! I mean, great choice, but crazy order to start haha plan on watching more???

DaftBasterd

The second Deadpool is just as good as the first in my opinion. Josh Brolin plays an excellent villain in the sequel, definitely worth watching!

Chase Taylor

The old man at the club was Stan Lee (R.I.P) and yes Ryan played Green Lantern a while back haha. They also did a reference to a previous (botched) deadpool from one of the X-Men movies. Second one is pretty good but to me, this one tops it a little. Third one comes out next year I believe. Try and catch up on X-Men movies before that :)

Arnold

Yes! That tier insures your movie recommendation😃

Vince Shoshana

This was choice to watch Ryan Reynolds is funny as hell. Movies you should react to is the underworld movies and Dracula untold

Jarick Richardson

Great question! If you want your recommendation to be a guaranteed watch we have a tier dedicated to watching a movie/show of your choice monthly!!

Vince Shoshana
