To answer a few of your questions and clarify some things. 1. Yes MAPPA is the same animation studio that did AOT, they'll also be doing season 3 of One Punch Man 2. Maki and Mai are twins. Maki came out first so she's considered the older sister. 3. Maki's promotion from grade 4 sorcerer is being impeded by the Zenin clan because of her lack to use cursed energy. Zenin clan is one of the major jujustu clans so at the very least you should have a technique if you're born into that clan and be able to see cursed spirits. Due to this they've always rejected her. So she left to go be a better sorcerer and prove them wrong.
