The station chief testified under oath he never gave a stand down order. The man who wrote the book says he did, but that might be a lie just to sell more books and add controversy.

They have little to no combat training, someone correct me if Iโm wrong. The Clandestine Operations Officers of the CIA are a different ball game. They have GRS (Global Response Staff) to provide them with security at sensitive locations like shown in this movie. The only known action element of the CIA is Ground Branch better known as the Special Activities Division
