My mom watched the first episode and as soon as she saw the birds she said "they must live near the beach" and told me what kind of birds they were. She loves birds lol. Kinda blew my mind though.

Hes covered in blood (just like how he was when he met the female titan)and there's multiple candles (aka multiple suspects) but then he opens his eyes and there's one candle left (meaning he found out who it is). After that part, the action begins. That's the meaning behind it.

2022-11-04 18:06:16 +0000 UTCNow that ya'll have finished season 1, make sure to check out the AoT OVAs episodes: Episode 1: Ilsa's Notebook, Episode 4: No regrets Part 1 and Episode 5: No Regrets Part 2. Ilsas's Notebook is about an early scouting mission and an unbelieveable experience that one of the scouts went through, and then No Regrets is a backstory into Levi before he joined the scouts. The rest of the OVAs are entertaining or fun, but these three specifically contain vital plotline information :)

2022-11-04 16:59:50 +0000 UTCTITAN IN THE WALLS!!! The Geese are featured in episode 1 and 2. But they’re meant to convey something along the lines of freedom and escaping the walls. I’m sure that there are more meanings to it. But that’s the main one. There’s a lot of symbolic imagery through AOT from the author. Flowers and Birds and Butterflies are all very symbolic, meaningful and foreshadowing in the AOT story. It isn’t needed, but it’s fun to look up what they would mean in japan and you can realize what the hidden message behind them and why they’re popping up around certain characters. Now, where and who are the Armored and Colossal? She was trying to capture him with her in the crystal which is why their titan bodies were fusing. You’re asking the right questions when it comes to the backstories. The whole story is really influenced by the need for humanity to learn from the past. Families to break free from cycles.
