2022-10-27 05:15:21 +0000 UTCim so happy you guys reacted to and enjoyed this movie. its in my top 3 of zombie films. Its definitely my current favorite zombie film that has come out recently. Not gonna lie, i still cry during the ending even when im just watching people react to this film. Multiple fun facts for this film. haha. Firstly, the zombie choreography was made by a dance choreographer who specializes in bonebreaking. His dance crew worked with the extras extensively, training them, as well as helping the extras make their zombies unique from each other (if you noticed that the zombies all kinda had their own individual ticks/quirks) Secondly, the big actor who's name is Ma Dong Seok aka Don Lee is a Korean-American actor who's more active in Korea. From what i know, he made his Hollywood debut in 2019. He plays a character named Gilgamesh from the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) in the film: The Eternals. Thirdly, the baseball player character is played by Choi Woo Sik who has incredible range as an actor and is definitely one of my current favorite actors. He was in the Korean film: Parasite which won the Oscar for best Foreign Film. He is also in the movie The Witch: Part 1 Subversion which is a film i plan to officially request for next month. hehe. He's also Korean-Canadian. Finally, there are quite a lot of video essays on youtube about this film and how its almost like a perfect blend of character, plot, emotional impact, etc as well as a comparison to a similar film: World War Z starring Brad Pitt. Personally, i found Train to Busan a superior film to World War Z. There's also a wonderful video essay where a family therapist reacts to and analyzes this film as a character study which i highly recommend checking out.
