As a highly sensitive person, this series was already pushing the limits of my sensitivity to death and dying but Erens death hit me in a way I never felt before. It was just so tragic and violently abrupt. I couldn't come back to the series for several months after that because of how upset I was. But when I did start it again it was well worth finishing it, trust me. The shock is a lot but the story gets so much better and also you get to see Mikasa shine like she was always meant to. Take care y'all, go through the grief stages, and just know that all this pain definitely is worth the watch when you get to season 4 and things get better.
