We don't know who he is yet but this is the second time we have saw him due to Muzan's memories... Season 1 episode 8 is the first time. This season gets crazier and crazier!

As to what happened to Tanjiro you'd have to wait for the explanation later in a different season. Finding out now would be a spoiler of sorts. This isn't my favorite video of this arc. That's yet to come :) Thanks for the great reaction as always!
