The Germans who attacked the tank at the end were SS (Waffen Schutzstaffel) They were basically the most loyal band of Nazis there was. At the end of the war, when Fury is set, they started forcing people to fight for them. The reason the SS Soldier let Norman go is cus he was probably forced to fight and didnt want to actually hurt anyone, just like Norman . Whole point was to show that both sides possess humanity. Norman ended up meeting the German version of himself
2022-07-10 13:47:42 +0000 UTCMan.. looking back at it now the scene where Norman tells Emma "You're gonna have one great love in your life" after reading her palm and then the building gets hit from artillery is sooo.. I don't know the right word.. Heartbreaking?? Creepy?? I don't know.. this movie was really good at depicting the misery of war.. I love this film it's done right, but it is a tough watch.. Enjoyed your reaction👍
