Hey friends! How are you? I know I have always said I want this to be a happy place, a place to kind of forget the real world and come to the world of movies, but I know this has been a heavy week for a lot of reasons for so many. For me, the recent tragedy took place extremely close to home, at Ben's Alma Mater and I think the resulting fear of that for me and my family kind of made a rain cloud over me this week. The heaviness of tragedy after tragedy these days and the hate that comes before and after is hard. I hope we can all find the good (like this community, like a cozy movie, like watching my kids laugh until they cry, among so many other things) in what can sometimes be a toxic and divisive online and real world.

Speaking of the beautiful world of Cinema, I am excited to watch Superman 25 this week (with Carly in the home theatre with popcorn and Jelly Bellys), as well as the highly praised "In the Name of the Father and of course, what takes up a lot of my brain space these days with more episodes of Game of Thrones!

Next week will be Duel (with Carly) as well as we are going to do an Extra Butter watch-along for The Fly (hopefully I don't regret that haha) The watch along will be TUESDAY 9/23 at 7:30pm MST-bring your brownpaper bags to breathe into!

Then, don't forget about our Trick or Trivia night on 9/30! Going to be spooky fun!

Also, Remember to enter Pick a Flick for this month right here! Quick note on that! If it is a scary, but not too scary pick that wins I will watch it in October, but if it another genre it will probably be pushed up to November!
