[YT Edit] Game of Thrones (S1.E3-4)

Hey guys! Here is the YT edit for GoT S1 Episodes 3 & 4!

[YT Edit] Game of Thrones (S1.E3-4)

Comments

No going back now

John Sullivan

Tbh, her reactions to Eps 1-4 have been more subdued than I expected.

Joe J

That's a neat little magic trick you've done there, Cassie. Before you started watching Game of Thrones, there were 7 days in the week and they were all the same length. Since you've settled in to dropping 2 episodes every Thursday, the week has expanded by at least 8 days and all of them seem to be 50 hours long. What I'm saying is, there are too many days in the week now, and none of them matter except Thursday.

Cassie E3: "I like Lord Stark very much."

Clay F

I hope she doesn't read this because I can't believe someone that is paying to watch someones reaction would so blatantly spoil so many things. You really need to delete this.

It's because HBO has been doing this caliber of original programming for almost 40 years by the time they started Game of Thrones. After this can I encourage a lobbying effort for Cassie to watch Westworld if she hasn't seen it. I remember the impact the movie of Michael Crichton's book made on me back in the 70s...Yul Brynner was an AMAZING actor. Many times during the HBO series of Westworld I felt shivers as old forgotten memories came back to me.

Cassie E3 intro: "The characters are already so intriguing." I am in the YT premier - 4,480 watching now (exceeds E1-E2) Cassie: “I like Tyrion. He cracks me up a little." Cassie: “Lord Tyrion provides just the right amount of comic relief.”

Clay F

To answer your question, the mantra “Winter is coming” is literal for sure but also figurative - prepare for the struggle of hard times. Personally, I consider this show to be one of the best of all time and episode 4 when Cat takes Tyrion prisoner is what set the hook for me watching back when it came out. The characters have been introduced and now the plot unfolds. Enjoy!

Mark Daniels

I am jubilant about you reacting to Game of Thrones.

Clay F

seeing all these characters again makes me feel nostalgic. Look how far Cassie has come. Excited for the ride.

RB Dacasin

One of the 2 main characters in 1917 (the one that dies) is Tommen Baratheon.

Kawaii Leonard

From previous reactions: Cersei Lannister: Queen of Sparta in 300, Robb Stark: The brother in 1917. Anyone else?

DAVID COSTELLO

I like Lilly Allen a lot. She's pretty cool. And a bit feisty.

Chris Thom

I think a cool idea would be to write down questions you have as they come up and see if when they get answered. You could review them at the end of a season so it wouldnt get too repetative

Nick Parker

Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy) is the brother of singer Lily Allen. Her hit song "Alfie" is about him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RgOm_WJKpE&list=RD-RgOm_WJKpE&start_radio=1 And if you want to see Bronn as a blonde popstar, check out some Robson & Jerome from the 90s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fgUY-kXlBA&list=RD8fgUY-kXlBA&start_radio=1

Clarence Newman

Beagle murderer? Ring a bell?

Lamar Smith

Well, now that you’ve met ‘Theon Greyjoy,’ cast your memory back a few years….. one of your very first reactions….. ‘John Wick.’ The actor who plays ‘Theon’ was ‘Vigo’s’ son in the first installment.

Lamar Smith

Hi Fred, the show notes say that Sean Bean urged show runners to allow him to use his own Yorkshire accent, since he was not confident he could pull off any other accent well. Following this, others playing northerners tried for the Yorkshire accent as well with, of course, mixed results.

Steve Holton

Happy to see the longer reaction times for 3 & 4....hopefully this continues. Still a mixed bag with recent movie reaction times. Dragon was okay length, but Bridge of Spies was another brutally short one.

Joe J

I’m not a Star Trek person, so I’ve never gone on a long-running journey with you like this before, and I’m so excited for you and all of us that we get to watch your face as this grand story unfolds.

Jackson Harper

if that hasn't been stated yet in the show (it hasn't) - that could count as a spoiler

Connor P

On it!

Coleton B.

200 minutes in and she's not impressed with the royalty!!! Winter is coming....

Clint d

His name... is STARK

Clint d

Isn't it fun to not know exactly know what they mean when the say is coming. They don't know either, really.

Clint d

I couldnt wait to see the follow up. I've watched this so many times. I've watched the whole series in one week before..... now we watch watch with Cassie, but we wait for cassie.

Clint d

[14:00] King Robert's paternal grandmother was sister to the Mad King's father, making the Mad King Aerys and Robert first cousins, once removed. Daenerys and Robert, then, are second cousins.

J.D. Montgomery

[9:17] 'Bastard' in the show is exactly what it means today: a child born to unmarried parents.

J.D. Montgomery

Great reaction. enjoyed watching

Kevin O'Donnell

It's a northern english accent i am english myself but i'm not sure which one but I know it's one of them

Fred bates

Yay! More more more. I could sit here all day watching GOT with you lol

Tim MacKay

moderators!! please let Cassie know Ned's full name is Eddard Stark. Ned's like a short form ie, William & Bill, or Richard & Dick...

Ignis Rændl

Cassie probably looked at the episode title "Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things" and thought, "Yep. You're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy."

Clarence Newman

"The spiky chair" This edit of combined E3-E4 is longer than for the combined E1-E2 last week. If there are no copyright issues, I guess the premier will be Sunday (this evening?) like last week.
