[YT Edit] Game of Thrones EP 1-2

Hey guys! Here is the YT edit for episodes 1 & 2 of "Game of Thrones" which will premiere shortly!

[YT Edit] Game of Thrones EP 1-2

Comments

"Bran Muffin", little baby!, made me laugh so hard.

Ian A

This is not healthy for me, guys. Having binged on the first four episodes already, I'm now going Cold Turkey and it's not a pretty sight. It's like I'm standing on a street corner, hopping from foot to foot like an agitated Sheldon Cooper, just waiting for my drug dealer to turn up and hit me with an ounce of Jamaican homegrown. "I need it, maaaaan."

Clarence Newman

There's no pleasing Cassie. When she's watching a Western, she complains the streets are too dusty. Watching GoT, she complains it's all mucky and wet. Shoes or hairdo, Cassie! One or the other is getting messed up.

Clarence Newman

It is all a bit mucky & medieval. And you’re right, those Lannisters should absolutely leave the Wonderwall. 😂

Ria Grix

Thing is Man of Steel, D&D & Wargames have all got more views at the moment. But that will probably change for Wargames & maybe D&D, but I can’t see it getting more views than MOS. But if Cassie gets a similar reaction to some of the others I’ve seen, she might get a big drop off after E4 and then balance out with the odd spike for some episodes.

Dean Holt

There is no set timetable, but you can count on an average of 5-7 days from full length to YT edit.

Dave

Is there a set amount of days between the full reactions and the YT edits?

Jack

GoT E1 Intro “The thing that I love about shows that I found in Star Trek, and Chernobyl, Band of Brothers, these shows I’ve watched, Firefly, you really go along with these characters. Get to go with them week-to-week and their arcs and their stories, and they become your friends. So I am excited for that aspect and to be starting a series again. So, I’m happy you’re here.”

Clay F

But it’s ok because they all come back in the multiverse played by younger actors, steal a spaceship, slingshot around the sun and arrive back just in time to put some crash mats down to break Bran Muffin’s fall. The rest of the series becomes one big spoiler because all the characters know what’s going to happen next.

Clarence Newman

Quick spoiler - everyone dies.

crazyivan

We recommend classic movies but only mediocre series for the ladies to watch? How about someone bringing up the most influential series of our (the older viewers) lifetimes? The Rockford Files and M*A*S*H from the 70's, Magnum P.I. and Miami Vice from the 80's and Cheers from the same time period? The best series in the last 10-20 years (imo) is Justified and no one mentions that either. Firefly is the only series I've watched along with Cassie, along with a few of ST:TNG. Thank God no one has gotten her started on the 40+ year run of Dr. Who.

crazyivan

SHE HAS REACTED TO THESE SERIES: Star Trek TNG = select 40+ episodes The Mandalorian = 24 episodes The Last of Us = 16 episodes Firefly = 14 episodes Band of Brothers = 10 episodes The Pacific = 10 episodes Haunting of Hill House = 10 episodes WandaVision = 9 episodes Masters of the Air = 9 episodes True Detective S1 = 8 episodes The Queen's Gambit = 7 episodes The Book of Boba Fett = 7 episodes Loki = 6 episodes Obi-Wan Kenobi = 6 episodes Falcon and Winter Soldier = 6 episodes Chernobyl = 5 episodes

Clay F

I hope HBO adapts the Blackfyre rebellion at some point. Dunk & Egg should be good, and a natural lead in to it. Fingers crossed. One day

Cole Jennett

I usually watch YT edits of most reactions, but for this series, I will stand my full watch on the Wall. I will brave each full episode as Cassie squirms and squiggles on her bunk, keeping all spoilers to myself because she will doubtless enjoy the ride far better if she knows nothing, Jon Snow. Violators will be beheaded while Bran Muffin is forced to watch. That was quite a first episode for Bran, wasn't it? He got to watch a deserter de-bonced and the Queen playing hide the sausage with her brother, before doing an unexpected half-gainer out of a 5th story window. His mother warned him, you know.

Clarence Newman

Stay away from youtube comments unless you get a moderator!!!! I have a channel with 350k subs on youtube that was all Game of Thrones content untill it got attacked by the Copyright Nazis. I could definetly help with that moderation is needed. You can go see my channel at Daemon Blackfyre 2.0. I paid for full length Game of Thrones reacts. I hope I find them here.

Daemon Blackfyre 2.0

Clay - Cassie should do well on YT with GoT S1, views will drop off some after the novelty wears off, but that's normal for long shows.

Joe J

I looked at the YouTube comments. A. Much enthusiasm and positivity. B. Many had no idea she going to react to GoT – that’s even with her early GoT comments on Patreon, the 8/4 Patreon Upcoming post, the 8/4 Instagram announcement, and the two Patreon posts of GoT full reactions. Though once some saw the YT premier was scheduled, they were camped out in anticipation. C. She should stay away from the YT comments. Too many spoilers. Not necessarily horrible or over the top – but enough. D. “Sweet summer child” is by far the most over-used phrase. Number of YouTube comments. –Game of Thrones E1, E2 (23 hours) = 2,463 –Wargames (10 days) = 2,277 –Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (5 days) = 1,448 –Enter the Dragon (3 weeks) = 1,766 –Dungeons & Dragons (1 month) = 1,318 –Man of Steel (12 days) = 2,281

Clay F

The YT edit now at 66k views after 17 hours (85k after 21 hours). Performance maybe similar to Enter the Dragon but less than D&D and Man of Steel? I don’t know – I haven’t looked closely. Below is comparison to historical low performers: Game of Thrones E1, E2 = 66k (17 hours) Game of Thrones E1, E2 = 85k (21 hours) Game of Thrones E1, E2 = 93k (23 hours) The Shop Around the Corner (1940) = 39k (7 months) *Selma (2014) = 37k (2 years) (one of her best reactions - highly recommend) Shakespeare in Love (1998) = 36k (1 month) Now and Then (1995) = 34k (5 months) Bringing Up Baby = 31k (2 weeks) Just Mercy (2019) = 24k (2 years)

Clay F

Did you get DVDs or blu-rays? 8 seasons cost a pretty penny I suppose.

Joe J

Terrence Stamp (General Zod in Superman 1 & 2) has passed away at the age of 87. RIP

Joe J

Word lol we have a loong way to go miss Cassie so speed it up lol 😆

Louis Chapman

Listen, I know you are really busy with your family and all, but I need some more GoT reactions! So chop chop! JK 🤣. Keep em coming 🔥☺️

Scott Macaulay

Maybe the mods are getting extra hazard pay for the duration.😆

Joe J

This was actually standard operating procedure in many cultures pre- and post-A.D. Also, right into the early 20th Century, public executions drew crowds akin to rock concerts.

Above Average Dave

Been thinking a bit about spoilers. It's definitely been the most focused spoiler policing I've ever seen on here and, of course, there's a very important reason for that. It's a shame Cassie can't come in and engage with us, though, because she seems to enjoy reading comments and we miss her face. But surely there's a simple solution. Cassie has someone to go through all the packages and make sure there's not a naked Spartacus doll in there, so why can't she do that with the comments? Hugh Grant was handed a batch of Christmas cards in Love Actually with a post-it on saying "Read these". Clearly they'd been vetted and cherry-picked, so Hugh could happily have a browse without fear of finding one from a disgruntled peasant calling him a cock. Cassie should do the same. Get someone to go through and cherry-pick the really good comments so she can stay involved without fear of spoilers. Once we know that's happening, the mods can relax their spoiler watch a little.

Clarence Newman

My DVDs finally arrived and I've just watched the first episode (full reaction, not YT). Spoiler alert, I'm really going to love going on this journey with our Popcorn Princess. One of the reasons I love watching Cassie's reactions is her low-key, off-the-cuff remarks. She's not trying to be funny, but sometimes she just makes me laugh out loud. An example from Episode 1 is when the King and Ned are talking about drinking and whoring. Cassie's observation?: "But his wife is so pretty. Do we need whores?" I guess that's why they pay her the big bucks.

Clarence Newman

Great reactions Cassie. Hold on to your butt-it's gonna be a wild ride. Very perceptive observat'ns

Bruce Hutton

This enthusiastic GoT talk would be annoying me by now, Clay, if I hadn't just got a notification that my DVDs will be arriving today! Yeeha! Once they arrive, I've got four episodes to catch up on and I'm back in the ball game!

Clarence Newman

Great reaction! Lots of shocks and twists to come

Kevin O'Donnell

I notice this YT edit on YT has 38k views after 8 hours. Also, an enthusiastic 1,600+ comments. A comment I added: E1 outro: “I want to know more." E1 outro: “I already know this feels like I am going to want to binge it." E2 outro: "I want to watch more." E2 outro: "I want to keep watching." Not only is she handling it, but she is hooked.

Clay F

Let's see you 5 minutes in....

Clint d

I've been wondering that very question

🏁 🎥 🎸 💔

I'm all for avoiding spoilers and I'm keeping my thoughts about anything she has not seen to a minimum. I also think telling someone how much you love a certain season is just a big of a spoiler as telling them how much you hate it.

My_Cousin_Mose

Do your best to avoid spoilers about the show, especially later seasons. Some People for some strange reason, have this love love to tell reactors to hate certain seasons of the show. As somebody who has never read the books. Some of my favorite seasons are later seasons when the books ended. I love the quicker pace of the show later on. I hated when I saw people in comments trying to convince reactors to hate later parts of the show. Even if they have never read the books to have context to go of. If you ever read comments on your game of thrones stuff, be sure they are vetted comments from your mods. My general rule of thumb as a fan, is to just talk about previous episodes or the current one you are on and answer any questions you have if you are confused about some aspect of the show itself. Like maybe house symbols or locations of characters, or timeline stuff.

Thats MR. Baldamort

When I saw GoT come up on her Patreon I literally said "Oh you sweet summer child..." XD

Gryff

I'll send them when they are done.

Mike Lemon

Someone is going to send her the books?

Tyler Hale

If you ever need an extra mod who knows about Game of Thrones, just let me know. I want nothing more than for you to experience this show as purely as possible without worrying about spoilers.

Matt KC

I watched YT premier. The "now watching" up to at least 3,099. Spoilers weren't as bad as you would think in chat, especially w/moderators on top of it. Cassie apparently wasn't there -- intentionally didn't join the live chat, so to avoid spoilers. Cassie: "I want to watch more." She handling it. She an intelligent adult (w/good heart and good manners) -- not merely the label of 'sweet summer child' some are giving her. She likes Lord Tyrion (the imp). I do too.

Clay F

“I wish you good fortune in the wars to come”

Mark Daniels

Putin began his career in Star Fleet before transferring to the KGB.

Johnny

Cassie will always be a Sweet Summer Child. and let's hope she stays that way. 😉

Ignis Rændl

So excited to watch GOT with you!

Tim MacKay

So, you may end up seeking outside assistance, like I did, when I started watching this show, if only to understand the backstory. Just like "The Lord of the Rings" or "Star Wars", they both kind of start in the middle, with important events that happened before the start of the show. That's why there's "The House of the Dragon" to show those events. My only other comment is: Get used to lots of death and violence. This is set in a Dark Ages Fantasy world where people die in droves at their "Better's" whims. It's just how it is...

Chris Davis

Come on Cassie, where's the "Cassie's Picks Poll"?

Mark Vaderr

The Star Trek crossover really threw me for a loop the first time I saw this.

Thomas

"The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword'"

Clay F

There is no one in this show who isn’t… really pretty. In different ways, of course.

MGCR

Wow, the reaction times of the other reactors are essentially (or nearly) half the run time of the episode. (You can't show half the run time of a movie in a reaction.) I think they got away with that because the frames of the show are chopped down big time (over half portion of the frame cut out), whereas Matt shows the entire frame (except for the tiny portion obstructed by the small encircled Cassie overlay), and with an occasional brief blur out and showing a larger image of Cassie. I like Matt's approach -- makes for more striking viewing. I also notice that Cinepals has regular intermittent chunks of showing no image of the show at all. 11.75 mins does seem short -- maybe that more related to what Dave and Cole say. Another reactor I have watched full reactions to long series for over a year -- their edited reactions have a small box of a full framed image of the show diluted to about 30% of itensity - and their edited reaction for a 1-hr episode is about 18-20 minutes.

Clay F

Love this already. But also: why is there Vladimir Putin in a Star Fleet Uniform on the left?

Florian Zemke

Why the very short reaction times? YT viewers are now used to much longer reaction times to episodes. Cassie's actual reaction time for E1 was around 16:00 mins, and E2 was way shorter at around 11.75 mins. Other recent reactors have much longer reaction times per episode. Diegesis: (E1 - 30.19 mins, E2 - 26.29 mins) CinePals: (E1 - 30:00 mins, E2 - 22.32 mins)

Joe J

It takes some getting used to, that’s for sure, lol

Cole Jennett

really glad ur liking. this it gets better and better

john reed

This probably seems pretty innocent, but we shouldn’t be talking about aspects that may or may not be important later.

Cole Jennett

Seems so weird hearing Cassie talk of people "doing" each other and using the word " whores"

Brian McGovern

This is going to be HILARIOUS

Stan the Man

I never watch her YT edits here on Patreon or on YT. I click like on YT but only watch her full reactions (on Patreon). I may make an exception here and watch ths edited GoT reaction to episodes 1, 2.

Clay F

Full reactions are better -- get all the response and nuances.

Clay F

Mike Adams

totally agree with this. some just can't help themselves

Michael West

Without question. I sure hope so. I cannot get enough of these types of reactions.

thansen

@29:40 yes I sensed chemistry at that particular scene as well 😂 I had to rewatch a few times to be sure though

Jay

Highly suggest you dont venture into the live chat for these. Too many people will spoil even before they get deleted

Choof

Think she will start watching more and more per week

Bill Maurer

Just bought these episodes last night I should've waited one more day 🤦🏾‍♂️ ... Anyways great series. Enjoy Cassie. Long wild ride ahead of you 😁😄
