We are officially back to school for 2/3 at my house. Holy crap, I know I'm being dramatic but the tears would not stop this morning. Let's do it again tomorrow :( I'm so proud of them and know they will be great but it's just another gut punch that they are growing up and I know it's the ultimate mom cliche, but it is going so fast.

I feel pretty emotionally drained but its ok because at least I have more light and happy Game of Thrones episodes, wink wink. Just kidding, I have now watched 2 more episodes and I do find myself looking forward to it-I even had a dream about it last night. I am happy to have two other movies each week though as well. This week we have A.I. and To Catch a Thief (with Carly, yay!)

I did a pollception because I can't make decisions-and the DARK HORSE Cassie's Picks won!! Pressure is ON now! I thought it would be in last place-kind of like the historical views on all my popcorn picks of the months haha. I think you'll be surprised by my picks though.

Hey member that time I went to a Star Trek Convention last weekend?! EEEEE Can't even tell you what a wild day it was-it was like I was transported to a real star base and I would walk past a regular like Vegas restaurant and see a table of starfleet officers and klingons and we just had a blast! There WILLLL actually be a VLOG, mark my words, sworn on the flute of Picard-we will post it. I got to meet fans and talk with STARS and even came home with a pet tribble. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT!?

Ok 87% sure we are going to do a YT LIVE on August 30th! Extra Butter will either be the 25th or 27th of this month and don't forget to submit your pick a flick sometime before the end of the month!

Oh one more thing! The Podcast is BACK! Check out our newest episode!

Ok I am super emo today but I just want you to know how much you mean to me and how much I appreciate your support and online friendship.

Goodnightenstein,

Cassie

Hello, you’ve reached the dead thread hotline. May I help you?

Richard Maurer

Hello?

Jason Henderson

You should look at doing a Babylon 5 reaction.

Netherburn

Such a good actor, RIP

Mark White

Speaking of Superman, the actor who played General Zod in Superman I & II (Terrance Stamp) has passed away today.

Anthony Carlson

Cassie, I'm curious if you and Carly will continue with Batman vs Superman and Justice League.

Joe J

I’m not a lady but you’re welcome anyway.

Richard Maurer

You’re such a sweet lady. Thanks for sharing. 💋🍷🌹

Beau

Isn't already out on physical? Why not watch that if you're waiting for it?

Mike Lemon

Thunderbolts premieres August 27 on Disney+ - for the people (like me) who were waiting for that.

Richard Maurer

While I'm thinking about it, the late movie actress Grace Kelly was the inspiration for Cinderella in Walt Disney's Cinderella 1950 Version.🇺🇸🎬🌞😎😃👍

Kyle Chelf

Yikes already? That's not a good sign.

Rakesh

FYI, Superman (2025) is available on streaming from today

Milton William Burray

There isn't one. Well not yet anyway, maybe in the near future.

Gray

What happened to the Interstellar reaction?

JB

Interesting numbers. I can't help thinking that Cliffhanger suffered from the brutal edit. One of my favourite films but certainly not one of my favourite YTs. If I do a rewatch, it'll be the full reaction.

Tribble!😛 They really are a convention essential. Does it make noises?

Chris Clarke

Wow, Cassie—I had no idea you went to the big Star Trek convention in Las Vegas. That's the one I've been wanting to go to for years. I've been to the Star Trek convention in Nashville once and Knoxville's Fanboy Expo more times than I can count here in my home state, and even the biggest of them all—San Diego Comic-Con which I'd love to go back again. But Las Vegas has always been high on my list, second only to my top dream convention, right up there with New York Comic-Con and Power Morphicon, the ultimate Power Rangers convention that I always wanted to go. Lol. I knew the convention was happening last weekend, but I had no clue you'd actually be there. I'm so happy you had an amazing time—meeting other fans, talking with the actors. If you ever end up going again, it'd be awesome if we crossed paths—me finally meeting one of my favorite reactors, and you meeting one of your paid Patrons and YouTube subscribers. It's always special meeting another Trekkie—especially someone who's just diving into the franchise—when I've been living and breathing it for nearly 40 years since TNG came out. I'm seriously thinking about going next year. And 2026? That's Star Trek's 60th anniversary—it's gonna be massive. I was even planning to sign up for Star Trek: The Cruise next year, but of course it's already sold out. Figures. Lol. So now my mission is to snag tickets for the Las Vegas convention instead. I've wanted to go ever since the days of Star Trek: The Experience, but it shut down before I ever got the chance. 😊🖖❤️
