I think I did this one as well for my last two previous entries for the PIB pick a flick. i would love if they started a series of films like this with different ensemble casts playing as different characters or even the same actors but playing different characters. This felt so much like Guardians of the Galaxy when I watched it. Playing the game isn't required but it will add more depth and lore for any rewatches.

2025-06-18 05:45:06 +0000 UTCAlways had this on my watchlist as I heard good things, glad I've watched this through PaF as I probably would have continued putting it off but I must say this was alot of fun. Kinda wish I saw it at the cinema now i really gotta start going to the movies again missing out on all these cinematic experiences. Another great choice from PaF lets hope it continues on.

2025-06-17 19:44:09 +0000 UTCI've played my share of Dungeons & Dragons, but I'm not as familiar with the 5th edition, which I'm sure they followed when writing this film. Certain races, like Tieflings, I've played (or played against) in the game as well as the different classes (bard, rogue, wizard), but I don't know about artifacts like the "hither / thither staff." No matter; it was all fun and I just let myself get immersed it the world of the movie. It was a good time and I'm glad Cassie and Carly enjoyed it as well.

2025-06-17 10:55:17 +0000 UTCJust finished watching this one. I must have missed the With Carly graphic on the upcoming post, as I had no idea she was watching along with this one. I never get tired of rewatching this movie, and now it just got even better because I don't have to watch it alone. Fingers crossed for a sequel. 🤞🏻 P.s. I really wish Cassie would check if there's any end credit scenes before switching off. Sure, there's only a brief mid-credit scene with this movie, but it was worthing sticking around for in my option.
