Hey guys! Here is the YT edit for "The Searchers" which will premiere this evening!

@Clay, surprising the low views on "The Lincoln Lawyer", so many even recent films just seem to be forgotten about. Not surprising with the 70s films overall, the older Ape movies have done reasonably okay IMO.

Looks like may be among recent YT videos w/lower numbers of views. The Searchers - 35K (3 days) The Lincoln Lawyer - 39K (9 days) Cold Mountain - 31K (2 weeks) Conquest of The PotA (42K) (2 weeks) Escape from The PotA (51K) (3 weeks) The French Connection (38K) (3 weeks) Now and Then (28K) (4 weeks)

I watched this along with you, Cassie. I've seen it many, many times, and I always get emotional at the end, when Ethan stands in the doorway. First of all it is a stunning shot. While Debbie is ultimately rescued (note when Ethan lifts her above his shoulders at the end is the same way he lifter her up as a little girl in the beginning), it is not a happy ending for Ethan. The doorway represents the threshold between the untamed wilderness and civilization. Ethan cannot cross this threshold. He is cursed, just as he cursed the Comanche Warrior by shooting out his eyes, destined to wander between the winds.

In the chat during the YouTube premier of The Searchers, Cassie said that The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance was going to be her "next Wayne film". Cassie has made many prom proms over the years, I won't let her forget this one!

I just wanted to echo the others here who suggested The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence. You get John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart going head to head, plus it’s just a ripping good time and kind of a thriller.

Useless trivia but I had to watch this movie as part of a film class I took in college

Try the film "The Horse Soldier's", which has a great cast, ant the story is beautifully written. It has humor: Drama: a love interest and it really draws you in. Or. you can watch Wayne's last film, "The Shootist". I identify with it, as I have two Cancer's and Wayne died of Lung Cancer. Which is one of the two I have. They even took out my Left Lung, just like Wayne. I also have Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma, which cost me my Spleen. I live day to day. Such is life! Nice talking to everyone!!!
