Hey friends!
Happy Tuesday. After spring break last week, back to school was a RUDE awakening (quite literally) yesterday. We had a good break and I was happy to have my parents visit, Carly's bridal shower, a game of Catan, crepes (my kids fav but only special occasions), and hockey! Back to the grind this week and all the spring sports starting for the kids!
Lots of movie stuff this week and coming up!
Congrats to the Florida Gattacans who beat the Houston Capes in the final last night-what a game! I will be watching both this week and rounding it out with the light and fuzzy Easter themed Passion of the Christ (just kidding ;)) Now that it's over, I can tell you I will be watching all final four movies! Yay! Although the other two might not be right right away. We will also have a wildcard poll with some of the eliminated!
Speaking of Polls. I posted a Val Kilmer Poll this morning. Don't forget to vote!
The Last of Us season 2 starts Sunday!! I am so scared--Both of zombies and heartbreak. Trying to figure out how I'll do the reactions to that-I think it would be fun if we could do them right after-so it would feel like we are watching together, if you know what
I mean. Also this month we will have our Pick a Flick Winner! Jules was this months winner and her pick was "A Matter of Life and Death (1946)" aka "Stairway to Heaven (1946)" in the states. Remember, you can now submit your pick (any day in April) for the next month's drawing. Go here for all the info and to submit your pick! We will have Cape Fear for sure, more Apes and the Val Kilmer winner!
Also our March Madness BRACKET WINNER was DAVE (Sea-Dogs) If that is you comment on this post and we can work out how you can submit movies and for your prize!! Second Place was JimJames M-Congrats guys! I ended up in 150th place so dream big! haha
I am also planning on a YT LIVE this month! Packages, games, giveaways etc! They are always so fun and a highlight for me to hang with you!
So a big month coming up, tulips and movies are poppin! I love the spring!
Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week! Thank you for your hearts and your heads and your fingers, love you all!
Cassie

I feel exactly the same way about various Chistmas movies that depict Santa. But I guess that is the general struggle when trying to determine canonical fiction.
