2025-03-20 02:31:52 +0000 UTCHonestly, just asking everyone to submit five films and picking those names at random seems a lot less complicated than asking each of them to pick sports teams when some might have no idea who any of them are or which ones are good at the sport(night wanna research them), and people need to learn how a bracket works when some have never taken part in one, understand how to input them their choices into the Yahoo website, etc. It kind of feels like completing a scavenger hunt in order to win free candy. I don't even remember how a scavenger hunt works, lol.

I did very well last year and I don't know anything about US college basketball, outside of March Madness being a thing. Being on the other side of the world, that can happen. So, you never know your luck in the big city... better to have chance than none at all. There's always the pick option as well.

I do not watch any American sports and therefore do not know how they are scored. It wasn’t until I Googled two teams to find a random score to enter that I realised these were Basketball teams. Unfortunately the best movies have not been paired with the favored teams. 2025-03-19 14:53:56 +0000 UTCDid my bracket yesterday under nudging from the bracket organizer, Cole. I needed the nudging because I am so down on college ball this year. My team, NC State did great last year. Got to the Final Four and gave us War of the Worlds for Cassie to watch in the March Movie Madness thingie. But the three best players from last year graduated, another went abroad to play pro ball, and we got a new set of transfers. NC State did so poorly this year they not only missed the national tourney, they, for the first time ever, did not make the ACC conference tourney because the conference expanded to 18 teams and the bottom three didn't make it in. So season over, they fired the coach that took them to the Final Four last year! Believe that? Fans, and myself, are glad because he had to go. The team didn't do so great last year because of coaching, it was the players. And that is life for a college basketball fan! But I am super excited I have very long odds to submit my five picks to Cassie with this bracket, and even more excited about the movie picks! I want Auburn to win so Cassie can watch Blazing Saddles, but even more I want Houston to take it all because that is my pick in this bracket!!
