You rarely but sometimes react to musical classics. You have reacted to "White Christmas" and, "It's a Wonderful Life." This particular scene is of the iconic Judy Garland signing, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" from one of MGMs great musicals from MMGM's true golden era. It's called, "Meet Me in St Louis" made in 1944. I highly recommend you consider airing this and so many from the MGM vault. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/17jKzkA7ew/

Well, I do think Hugh was trying to channel Clint. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_Ku2zjjvDk&t=2581s :-)

Thanks for the heads-up. It is obvious that the ad was shot soon before the Son in Law reaction (0:19). :-)

Happy Hanukkah

He was extremely sweaty in JFK πŸ₯΅

https://youtu.be/LNnpPxYHnbg?si=PZnb25-GolUbtqJ1 No spoilers here. All about Jeffrey Hunter as Chris Pike.

John Liebling

He had charm, sadly he was fatalistic about his health and just didn't take care of himself.

I hope you watch, on your own, the Menagerie with the original crew from Shatner's enterprise, and a captain you've never seen before, Chris Pike. Before you watch the Chris Pine movie. If you watch it, it will not be as a spoiler, it will just add more depth to the character, you've never reacted to before. The story line will be different in the upcoming movies. No other spoilers given out, but it will be interesting as you spot other actors you've seen before.

John Liebling

As we're entering the Christmas period, weather's getting colder and you've already had a lurgey or two, I need you to remember John Candy's sage advice: "It's not the heat that gets you, it's the humidity!"

Clarence Newman

Now we need Clint's Dead Pool and we'll be sh*t out of luck.

Clarence Newman

The John Candy charm is real.

Hopefully Cassie figured out that this came out before Home Alone. I said this awhile back when she announced she was gonna be watching this, but I remain convinced that the scene where Miles is waiting for Shanice to come over had to be what inspired John Hughes to write Home Alone. This was a big hit when it came out but nowadays it seems like it's kinda overlooked or hasn't been watched as much over the years. I don't hear people talking about it that often anymore, but this movie is fantastic and I think is legit in the running for Hughes' best film (it's top 3 for me). I'm so glad you watched this Cassie, this always seemed like the kind of movie you were guaranteed to enjoy.

Stranger2Reality

Saved! is pretty great as well.

Stranger2Reality

I still think my favorite John Candy movie is "Summer Rental". But this one was fun as well! Very John Hughes!

Chris Davis

Ok. On YouTube, the opening of this is joyous. πŸ˜„ Lightsaber handling should be an Olympic event. Well done, PIB team.

Rick Rodriguez

Whoa! Never realized that. Ha. The multi verse is crazy. And Candy and Costner worked together in JFK.

Rick Rodriguez

Cassie as a Canadian should really watch Canadian Bacon.

TheSingulatarian

Was actually better than I remember it. Haven't seen it since the 90's probably.

Chris Thom

Really wasn't expecting to see Veda from My Girl in this. The kids did such a great job in this movie. Culkin is child-acting gold.

Chris Thom

This is probably my favorite Macauley Culkin film he is in. Thanks for the video.

Ian A

For another GREAT, feel-good, John Candy comedy, please consider watching Summer Rental. You'll absolutely love it!

Molly Campbell

Classic 80s comedy, one of his best ,Summer Rental is another Good One of his.

Tim C

First we got the Duck, Now we get the Buck. WTF?

Happy Hanukkah

Thank you for the reaction, well done as always. You did notice that Chanice and Maizy also played Kevin Costner's wife and daughter in Field of Dreams. Came out the same year.

Samuel Champ

Uncle Buck = Pure 80s magic

Dan M

I’d forgotten how good this movie is. It’s been too long since I’ve seen it.

Ria Grix

I hope you’re using your snow shovel to make your kids pancakes too.

Shad Kanyak

Pure charm,John CandyπŸ¬πŸ˜‹

Celeste McAllister

"Hehehehe ever heard of a ritual killing hehehehehe?"

Rick Rodriguez

Absolutely love this movie. John Candy was such an amazing talent, he did Canada proud.
