[YT Edit] It Chapter Two (2019)

Comments

Someone should tell her how they consummated that promise in the book

Go0se

so I take it your not doing a watching alone to the tv show there currently making then !!

john reed

The 1990 television minseries was better in my opinion

S Elphick

You'll be delighted to know that there is a prequel in the works "Welcome to Derry" for 2025....

John Drake

Next year you need to watch Doctor Sleep (sequel to The Shining).

Daniel Turbyfill

I don't think Cassie caught the Easter Egg of Stephen King being the proprietor of the second-hand shop where Bill bought Silver.

Daniel Turbyfill

I really just prefer the 1990 mini-series.

Daniel Turbyfill

Joe, it would be interesting if a poll was put on patron, where we voted on our favourite genre of movie. That would give us a answer. On YouTube the war genre seams to always receive a lot of views. As for the scare ante, I think Cassie may feel she must, to keep the horror fans happy. But I’m not sure how much more scary she can take! I think the Terrifier movie level, would be too much. But to be fare, IT is pretty high up on the scary scale. So I think Cassie is doing very well. I personally don’t think she needs to up the ante.

Mark White

I would be curious to know many actual horror fans Cassie has among her 3500+ paying patrons. Her YT posts during October certainly don't get anymore views than any other month. Will she up the scare ante again next October?

Joe

Correct

V M

It sure is a difficult movie and yes I think the flashbacks and the importance of friendship heart of the story do make it a lot easier to watch.

Ria Grix

The Thing was released in 1982 and the novel It was released in 1986, for anyone curious.

Stranger2Reality

Cabin in the Woods is more of a comedy than a horror movie though.

Stranger2Reality

See now if you had done the 3 hr 1990 version as I and other patrons were advising you to, you wouldn't have had to do this twice with this exhaustive 5 hr two part remake. And the best part for you, the original is way less intense

mikethemotormouth

Hi Cassie, well done for making it through that. I can’t say it was a enjoyable reaction. But you do this for you horror fans and I get that. I guess, for me, there is a difference between seeing you scared, like the croc jump scare in crocodile Dundee or Ben scaring you! Which I find funny and seeing you terrified in this reaction, which isn’t funny. But that’s just me! We all have different levels or thresholds of fear we can deal with and you take yours to the max and beyond! So well done, you are a very brave person. Not long to go now, then you can relax in tender November.

Mark White

I love your question “ who wrote this crap” lol. Stephen King who was the guy who sold bill his bike and hated the ending

kathy hansen

Stephen King wrote It same author of the Shinning, Christine, Carrie and many more ! He was the old guy in the bicycle shop.Never seen this kinda like they are Closing the Story out as adults.

Tim C

Best cure for a cramp/charlie horse while it happening is dill pickle juice. Many professional athletic teams even keep frozen "pickle popsicles" on the sidelines during games and practice to stop the cramping.

Matt Wathen

Chris, I don’t know if King pulled directly from “The Thing”, but it did come out first. “The Thing” was, in turn, strongly influenced by H.P. Lovecraft (although based on my favorite sci-fi/horror novella of all time, “Who Goes There?”). And, of course, “Who Goes There?” was previously adapted as “The Thing From Another World”, the movie being broadcast in the background of John Carpenter’s slasher classic “Halloween.” The horror genre is very incestuous - it seems like everything written or filmed in the last hundred years is based on, or pays homage to, some earlier work or artist.

Just Plain Bob

Any idea if King pulled directly from The Thing? There seems to be some homages. But not sure which came first.

Chris Thom

@Jyn, yep that sums up Natalie (haha). Besides Cassie, I mainly watch TBR Schmitt (husband & wife). Excellent reactors IMO.

Joe

Natalie seems nice but I find her annoying. She acts like a know-it-all about production and storytelling since apparently she works in the industry as a casting person. Comes off a bit arrogant for me and seems mostly making youtube for the $ + attention. Nothing wrong with that but I just found it annoying.

Jyn Jilly

While I and many others enjoy and appreciate Cassie doing the October scaries, she could skip them and it would have zero impact on the success of her channel. I think she kind of enjoys it also, maybe (haha).

Joe

Sorry! I'll delete

Jyn Jilly

Yeah, I'm no expert on other reactors. I mostly watch them in compilations. I was just curious about how Cassie's subscriber count stacked up to the others.

Clarence Newman

You could thank the Pawn Shop Owner for this lovely story

ROACH

No spoilers please!

Joe

I was only able to get through a few of Natalie's reactions. For me, she seems to observe and comment, not really watch and be invested.

Joe

Just finished watching, and while I can't say I enjoyed it (jumpscares are fine but I do NOT like seeing Cassie distressed!), I am yet again mightily impressed by the fact that she's putting herself through this stuff for us. Note to Self, Cassie. Whenever you're scared in the future, just get Ben to kick you in the calf. Did you notice how your fear disappeared completely while you had the cramp? Best part of the reaction by far. I am compelled to remind you how much respect I have for you - both for the courage you don't think you have and the precious heart that's responsible for a couple of hundred thousand names on your subscriber list. There's a reason why only Natalie Gold has more subscribers (there may be others but I couldn't find them), and even she's been going 4 years longer. That's another scary one vanquished (not Natalie - she seems to be a sweetie too). Just "Saw" left to battle through in October and you'll be out in the sunshine again. A week into next month, you'll have forgotten all about this stuff. EDIT: I forgot about Cabin In The Woods (though some have said it's nowhere near as bad as Saw and It) and, for some reason, I thought Hill House was only 8 episodes (therefore all watched by Cassie at the time of my post). So, THREE more to go and THEN she can relax into November.

Clarence Newman

Jyn Jilly

IT 2 will be child's play compared to "Howard the Duck".😆

Joe

Let me get this straight, you want Cassie to watch everything early in the week just so you can see it quicker, LOL!

Joe

Most people have horror stories about their IT department...

Chris Clarke

Well that makes perfect sense fair play

James Forrest

Itll never happen. Its a choice about the story not about of its gory or not.

David Freese

This one really took its toll on you, not only because of the scares, but also because of how long it was. By the end you looked like you ran a marathon. And now you have to contend with The Cabin in the Woods and Saw. I think you’ll need a day trip to a spa when October is over.

Dan M

If it makes Cassie, or anyone else, feel better, here's a couple of behind the scenes videos from It: Chapter Two. https://youtu.be/zIuwUH6WdVE?si=r2n6LO-Qe4hayClX https://youtu.be/-4zVqbFoJoA?si=gyQlkEiUFeqGZ0ZS

Mario

I applaud your bravery. Scary but not too scary with one exception, Stephen King! Very scary

Doc Larry

I saw this in theaters when this came out and regretted it almost immediately 😬

Joe George

A superb reaction lol :) You showed some guts doing this :) You're almost ready for The Exorcist next year haha :)

James Forrest

I wrote "content on this channel". Personally I dont care about the youtube edits as I watch mostly the full videos on patreon. And these videos are coming in quite late in the week. Often even in the following week only. I asked politely if it would be possible to get the content a little bit earlier in the week.

Jeri1979

Yes! to "Grumpier Old Men" with Carly...🤩

silverarrow06

That will probably be a thanksgiving title seeing as the last one was watched around then, wasn’t it? I don’t think grumpier was set around thanksgiving, wasn’t it it, but I think to the girls it is a thanksgiving title.

Brian McGovern

So you want the YT edit to be days earlier than the actual premiere? Or you want the full movie watch along well before the YT edit? I think that would mean having to take a hiatus to build up her content or release content a lot slower. You need to remember that this is her business and to do what you are requesting is likely to impact that stream. Also remember if you were not aware, her husband is now working solely for the channel and she has 3 children to support. I think I understand where you are coming from. I guess you feel that being a Patreon means you would like to see an appreciable length between Patreon members seeing the YT edit and non paying members seeing it?

Brian McGovern

Any chance to get the content on this channel a little bit earlier in the week? Love your channel and will always support it, but to be honest that's the only thing which could need some improvement imo.

Jeri1979

Cassie, i commend your bravery 😊👍 this would be the equivalent of me watching Mama Mia 1 & 2, which is something i'll never be brave enough to do 🤭

Ignis Rændl

Judging by the look on your face, I can tell this really took it out of you, don't know if it did worse to you than Chapter 1 did! I still haven't seen your full-length to this still, and unfortunately I don't think I can! I'm sorry Cass, but I just can't bear to see you traumatically terrified, it will break my heart! Good luck getting through SAW! Hope you and the family have a good Sunday, love and support always🥰😇🙏😁🤗😉👍✌🌹

Wesley White

"Saw in the wee morning hours of Monday." - So, Tuesday? You're killing me, Smalls.

Mike Lemon

I'll be glad when October is over. I hate horror movies. I enjoyed "Arsenic and Old Lace" slapstick comedy with laughs. A dark comedy, but not blood and guts. I know there are a lot of horror fans and i don't begrudge them their favorites. I'm just not one of them. I know old movies don't get as many views, but any thing that makes you laugh is good. How about "Grumpier Old Men". It is a sequel to a movie you both seemed to enjoy. Enjoy your reactions. Just have to skip the horror ones. Happy Halloween.

William Brownlee

Posting this one late (or early, I guess depending on when you wake up/go to bed) 😂
