Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) - Full Reaction

*We had to do a little switcharoo from Constantine to DPW because of Carly's schedule, so Constantine will be this week now!

Oh man the only thing I wanted more of was more Wolverine, more of them together. They were both made for these roles and it was fun to see them together! Action packed, could never have caught all the jokes on the first time because they are in every line and scene! This will be a fun rewatch. You can tell they are having so much fun doing this, this one had a lot of heart and although we ranked them in our outro, I've already changed my mind 4 times!

Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) - Full Reaction

Comments

First watch for me. I have never read comic books. I have watched a few Marvel movies. Never watched The Avengers series. I essentially never watched X-Men until this year I watched a few X-Men movies which were mixed for me. I liked Wolverine (Logan) character -- I am a Hugh Jackman fan. I've now seen all 3 Deadpool movies and my ranking is 1, 2, 3. I did like 3 (this one Deadpool and Wolverine). I liked the one-liners. I liked having Wolverine Good to see X-23. I liked the ending. As for the Deadpool movies, Ryan Reynolds is stellar. He does that character so well. Seems such at ease in the flow with that character. I can't imagine anyone else but him as Deadpool. "Pegging isn't new for me friendo, but it is for Disney." "You'll never see a Danish flag on the moon, but g*ddamnit they're happy." "F*ck the Avengers." "Look, mijo."

Finally watched this now because I have Disney+ and wasn't about to pay $30 for it. Carly's begging for the fight scenes to be over while I was hoping for them to go on a little while longer was amusing to me. Hope we get some more MCU main timeline interaction with DP in the future than this movie had. Other than that no complaints.

Revisiting this movie makes me think that Matthew McFadyen and Richard E. Grant should act in a bombastic movie together as some sort of family members, if they haven't already.
