Added 2024-08-01 23:06:09 +0000 UTCOk back in the saddle/bed with Carly, finally! I had seen this once, but it definitely made more sense this time. Carly had not, she was a good sport! It was a riot (for me haha) Ryan Reynolds was made for this role. PS- We watched an "edited" version (blurred nudity, less f words, otherwise its the same) to make Carly more comfortable. This doesn't affect your copy in anyway!
Should we have Carly watch the 2nd & 3rd one with me??

If it's not Carly's thing, don't make her watch it. Have the ladies seen Definitely, Maybe (2008) with RR? One of my favorite chick flicks.

2024-08-14 00:38:15 +0000 UTCWell I am not quite sure why you choose to have Carly along if she dislikes this stuff so much that you have to watch an edited version, ngl I didnt watch the reaction yet, but I think its an odd move, movies should be watched the way they are meant to or not at all, especially with this one. Even if its just some blurred images and muted f's I cannot imagine it not being distracting and taking away from the viewing experience and immersion. EDIT: So now after watching the reaction, I expected when you said blurr that it meant just some spots on the screen where blurred but didnt expect you to just blurr the whole scene and just leave the audio(which it at least seems like you did, because you didnt have any reaction to "that scene" at all, even tho with some blurred spots the rest probably wouldve at least given you some facial reactions) that really is a bit much editing. Anyway I still did really enjoy your reaction, as for the next one, its okey that this isnt for carly, just dont make her watch it. There are enough other great movies for you two to enjoy together. Cassie seemed to enjoy it a bit more so if you gonna do the next I will certaintly watch it but same goes for you, if its to much for you dont force yourself to do it just because people tell you.
