Help me choose the episodes I should watch for Season 6
PLEASE NOTE: I have already watched episode 1 as the two-part reaction to Season 5 Finale.
I have combined the two-part episodes Chain of Command and Birthright so it would be a two for one if that's a good one? a twofer!
I will watch the two part season finale S6E26 DESCENT Part 1 and S7E1 DESCENT PART 2 automatically.
The top 4 episodes from Poll 1 will go against the top 4 episodes from Poll 2 for a final Poll of our winning episodes!

Either way, I hope everyone tells her to watch Lessons on their own this season.

2024-07-19 18:54:17 +0000 UTCWhile you're doing Season 6 of TNG, you really should look into watching at the very least the series premiere of DS9 'Emissary', as that series started midway through Season 6 of TNG. Not only that, but there's also some overlap between the two shows in that first episode, specifically it opens with the infamous Battle of Wolf 359, and you have our main character Benjamin Sisko meeting with Picard onboard the Enterprise. And let's just say that some pretty heated words were spoken. You really should consider taking a look.

Which I’d be very happy with, just a shame The Chase & Face of the Enemy aren’t doing better, Suspicions is also a great Beverly episode. I would have definitely swapped any of them instead of Descent as I’ve always found it one of the poorer episodes. But just because of the western link Fist full of Datas could be one of the winners but never really been a fan of it tbh.

I was hoping for second chances as it would have given some background on two characters, romance and a relationship that has future implications. Alas it's no where near the lead. However, timescpae and ship in a bottle arent bad. Would be nice to close out with a ship in a bottle as its finish of an arc. I find the link people have made between inner light and lessons laughably tenuous at best.

2024-07-16 23:32:24 +0000 UTCMy votes are for “Face of the Enemy” and the stellar consecutive trio of “Starship Mine” (a nice “Die Hard”-like episode for Picard), “Lessons” (a rare Picard love story and a nice follow-up to the series’ best episode, seen recently in season 5), and “The Chase” (a nice addition to Star Trek lore and exploration of archeology as Picard’s 2nd passion…really what “Star Trek: Picard” should have been about).

Apart from that I settled for Face of the Enemy (great Troi story), Suspicions (good Beverly story), The Chase (great mystery) and Frame of Mind (awesome Riker story). Oh and Timescape and Starship Mine are also really good. This is really one of the best seasons. Maybe worth watching more episodes.
