Help me choose the episodes I should watch for Season 6
PLEASE NOTE: I have already watched episode 1 as the two-part reaction to Season 5 Finale.
I have combined the two-part episodes Chain of Command and Birthright so it would be a two for one if that's a good one? a twofer!
I will watch the two part season finale S6E26 DESCENT Part 1 and S7E1 DESCENT PART 2 automatically.
The top 4 episodes from Poll 1 will go against the top 4 episodes from Poll 2 for a final Poll of our winning episodes!

The Shining, yes (cos it's not real), The Exorcist, no (cos it would hurt her soul and we love her too much). Chain of Command, yes (because it's gritty and absorbing and she's appreciated stuff like that before), Birthright, no (cos it's grandma's pants.)

2024-07-17 03:23:36 +0000 UTCFor this first poll, I voted: -Relics (for Cassie b/c of the guest appearance) -Chain of Command -Ship in a Bottle In S4 poll, I voted "The Wounded" over "The Drumhead" (an excellent episode) and over "Family" (helped Cassie to connect with Picard). -"The Wounded" provides context for Chain of Command. In S5 poll, I voted "Ensign Ro" over "Darmok" (which Cassie said she loved) and over "Cause and Effect". -"Ensign Ro" provides context for Chain of Command. As for 4th in this first poll, which is unlikely to make the final poll, I would be fine with: -A Fistful of Datas -The Quality of Life (surprised this is not getting more love) -Schisms -Rascals (though Cassie has no idea who is Ensign Ro except for brief appearance of Ensign Ro in Cause and Effect) -True Q (and I am not a big fan of Q episodes)

Aqueil is not a great episode but it centers on Geordi LaForge which makes it enjoyable for me. I also think True Q is fun but obviously I got outvoted on that LOL.

It simply means the creators were/are genius, creating much for many! Their universe(s) were so diverse, because we are so diverse. While new here, I'm glad you introduced Cassie to Star Trek, but I feel pretty safe in the notion she is a true fan, end up watching EVERYTHING, and ... most importantly ... having her own favorites. I haven't seen those episodes in a long time, but I remember disliking them to the point of avoiding rewatching. I must have missed something. I'm enjoying this comment section though. But I’m also glad Chain of Command is winning as I think it’s one of the best performances from Patrick Stewart in the series, not sure if he won an award but if he didn’t he deserved one.

2024-07-16 21:22:41 +0000 UTCI wish people were voting for "True Q." In past seasons, I was complaining that others were just voting automatically for Q episodes, pushing out better episodes. However, "True Q" is one of the ones I really like, and I think it's a standout of Season 6.
