Hey guys! Here is the YT edit for Tin Cup, which will premiere early today! I won't be able to make the premiere as I'm out of town but I hope you enjoy!
This movie is really a love story... just like 'Bull Durham' style..👍👍👍

I just realized that the Costner character is sort of like "The Dude" from the Big Lebowski.

I LOVE this movie, I truly do. The math at the US Open doesn’t add up, though.
So, the first day ‘Roy’ shoots an 83. I don’t know what course they’re playing/supposed to be playing but par for the course is almost always 72, at that level. Usually 2 par-5’s and 2 par-3’s per side and the rest par-4’s.
So, ‘Roy’ shot an 83 first day, that’s 11 over par.
He comes back and shoots a US Open record 10 under after ‘Molly’ boosted his confidence.
That still nets him 1-over starting the third day, yet they show him at 5 or 6 under in contention.
It just doesn’t work but it’s a great movie.

'Hope you both and your cousins enjoyed Charleston and got back safe and sound! Oh, and if you missed LEWIS BBQ, well, you'll just have to go back on Saturday and get the beef ribs!

Bull Durham, White Man Can’t Jump, and Tin Cup are three of the best sports movies and all from the director. None are about winning in the field but are about overcoming and leaning into our weaknesses at a base level.

I really want her to watch French Kiss. DH are I trekkies and this is our favorite rom-com.

If Cassie can get into scifi then we Trekkies can get into romcoms (which are usually fun for most people)

Ahhhh, yes....the town where I live is now famous (sort of) because of this movie. The Hpuston golf course/club where this was filmed (mostly) is about 10 minutes from my house. I used to have Thanksgiving and Easter dinner there with my in-laws before hurricane Harvey flooded the entire complex. They've rebuilt, but we no longer go there.
When my husband's family was moving from Oklahoma to Houston in the 70s), his dad specifically chose this area because of the golf course.
