Star Trek: The Next Generation ( S1 | EPs 13, 23, 26) - Full Reaction

Ok, here are the last three epi's for season 1 of TNG!

I am still getting to know our new crew and it seems everyone is trying to find their footing this first season.  We have had moments of sparks for sure, on to more adventures where no one has gone before!

You should really watch Data's romance with Lt. Tasha Yar in Star Trek TNG's 'The Naked Now' S1E3. You will have more understanding of Data's reaction to Tasha's loss. It has lasting affects on him along the way in the series.

It might be easier to get to know the crew if you didn't skip quite so many episodes. Just an observation.

Colonists mean people who settled on this planet. They were humans looking to create a new home. Presumably no-one else lived there prior.

Depends on how you count. The number of episodes in the first season of TNG is not straightforward. The pilot, Encounter at Farpoint, was originally aired as a 90-minute movie, but for later screenings split into two 45-minute parts. But nonetheless it has the production codes of 101 and 102, and because of that Datalore has 113 and Skin of Evil 123. The HD restoration of the show uses the 90-minute cut of Encounter at Farpoint, which affects the numbering of the episodes on streaming services making Datalore the 12th episode and Skin of Evil the 22nd.

Gábor Árki

Not a big deal, but DataLore is episode 12 and The Skin of Evil is episode 22.

Okay! After some thought and my previous comment about watching few episodes… So Cassie doesn’t know the entire crew and that is a problem moving forward. This becomes a hinderance to many things! The other part of the problem is the sheer quantity of episodes – about 25 per season! Therefore: One aim should be towards getting to see episodes with character development totally disregarding story arc’s and virtually everything else. So – if I remember correctly she likes Data and to a degree Picard and Troi and Riker… But little with Geordi or Worf. Worf – S2 E20: The Emissary Riker: S2 E14: The Icarus Factor Wesley: S2 E10: The Dauphin A fun one: S2 E18: Up the Long Ladder
