Never really 'plugged in' to this film, now a franchise I supposed with a sequel. I always felt claustrophobic, which I suppose is its appeal and theme. I would have liked if it would have probed the notion that we are all living in a super virtual reality and God is the programmer. That would lift it into the philisophical sci-fi-spiritual realm.

2024-02-11 03:17:49 +0000 UTCSadly the new Tron movie that has just started production will no longer be a sequel to Tron Legacy as it was originally scripted. It seems to go under the name of Tron: Ares and has Jared Leto attached to it and will be some kind of reboot.
