You should watch An Officer and a Gentleman with Richard Gere. A fantastic movie, I saw it when it came out, I was i college and about to start College ROTC on my way to becoming a commissioned officer. You will have tears at the end of that movie as well. Also a great romantic movie as well as a great friendship movie.

Lana Gorgeous

My rockin chair ...

The medal Denzel places on Capt. Walden's headstone is the Silver Star. It's the 3rd highest award for valor in combat.

Bill W

"What has two thumbs and doesn't give a rat's ass? This guy!" anyone else recognize Dr. Bob Kelso from Scrubs?? (Meg Ryan's Father)

Bill W

Thank ya kindly!

Bill W

Just like every time it’s suggested, I have to disagree with City of Angels. No spoilers though

Cole Jennett

Wonderful suggestion. I adore French Kiss. One of my all time favorite romantic comedies. And peak Meg Ryan.

Octavia

I think it would be the book of Eli for me.

Don

American Gangster

Mark Vaderr

"What if you'd missed?" "It never occurred to me."

Bill Maurer

I want a Denzel poll as well. It won’t win likely, but it will be one step closer to having her watch The Hurricane

Cole Jennett

I’ve just never been able to connect with this film. No disputing Denzel is brilliant though. I think what we do need is a Denzel poll. That will be a hard one to pick the best of

Don

"Futterman!"

Jeffrey Schmidbauer

Whenever you return to a good ol’ romantic comedy, try Meg Ryan’s “French Kiss”. This is my favorite of hers and I think you would love it.

Andy Perezchica

Great reaction to an under appreciated movie. I hope that you will react to Joyeux Noel for your war movie next month. It is the perfect based on a true story movie for December.

Dissonant Bard

In an entirely different tone, I was amused by his turn in the comedy short Lucy in the Sky with Diamond. https://www.imdb.com/video/vi1133815321/ (Definitely not PG)

Happy Hanukkah

John McTiernan directed (consecutively) three movies Cassie has reacted to: Predator, Die Hard, and The Hunt for Red October. (As well as Die Hard with a Vengeance which I won't count so as to abide by your condition. :-) ) I'd love to see a reaction to The 13th Warrior (1999) or, faute de mieux, The Thomas Crown Affair (1999). Come on, people, hasn't he earned it? :-)

Happy Hanukkah

Our hearts all needed to bleed a little bit tonight remembering the soldiers in war right now. Thank you Cassie for the assist.

Great reaction Cassie, like I said, I almost teared up during this reaction, that rarely every happens to me, glad I was able to join in on the premiere! Now I'm convinced to want to watch the full length of this movie, I'll be sure to do so at some point! Like you said, movies like this remind us of what our troops go through and what they sacrifice in order to keep our freedom and we should never take our freedom for granted! I had family that served in WWII and Vietnam, and I respect every soldier that I see and thank them every day for their services! As I mentioned to you in honor for Remembrance Day for Canada, Leo Major was a French Canadian born in Montreal who joined the army in WWII to fight the Nazis in Europe, he partook in the D-Day Normandy landings on June 6th, 1944! He was known to be an excellent scout for reconnaissance missions, he earned his reputation after capturing a garrison of German soldiers and brought them back to his unit, a total of 93 prisoners! He stood out amongst his unit because after a fire fight he was involved against a small group of SS officers that he took out single handedly, one of the officers fataly wounded managed to through a phosphorus grenade at him and damaged his left eye, he then had to wear an eye-patch in order to heal, remarkably he refused to be discharged and told the doctors that he needed only one good eye to shoot! His greatest achievement however was when he liberated the entire town of Zwolle in the Netherlands by himself! Here's a link to a YT channel I follow that in full detail tells the stories of many brave men of valor who fought in many wars, it's how I learned about the two soldiers I mentioned to you during your PLATOON reaction when I told you that not all American soldiers who went into Vietnam and came back as animals! I hope you find this story of Leo Major very intriguing and in honor of Remembrance Day, enjoy: https://youtu.be/eFf1UfVa8Lc?si=B3fYLxv1diz4QdJH Great reaction Cassie, see you next time at the next premiere hopefully, love and support, Happy Remembrance Day, [virtual hug] God bless you, Carly, and your family🥰😁😉🤗😇🙏👍🌹

Hey guys wouldn’t it be nice to see Cass and Car REWatch “The Breakfast Club”, for Tender November. John Hughes is so good at Tender Autumn films.

Uncle Phoenix

War is hell - This reaction was a great tribute to those who serve.

Terry Yelmene

Thank you so much for watching this Cassie! Besides being a fantastic film with superb acting and innovative storytelling, it reminds us that the battle often doesn't end when the veterans come home. Thank you for honoring them today!

Phil Stubblefield

He was great in it as well. Johnny "Night Train" Monfriez.

Stranger2Reality

Amazing, ethereal film. Wim Wenders at his very finest.

Above Average Dave

I am just wondering if this is the most featured director on the channel. This is the 4th movie you have reacted to of his and you have loved (and cried) in every one. He directed The Last Samurai, Glory and Legends of the Fall. I think you have already seen or there have been calls for you to watch Blood Diamond as well with Leo Di Caprio. I cannot think of another director who has featured more on this channel that was not part of a franchise. Richard Donner has featured at least 5 times but that was because 4 times with Lethal Weapon and Superman. (There is a Popcorn trivia question for you :)

Brian McGovern

How about some love for Lou Diamond Phillips?

Mark Vaderr

Actually she should watch the German original: Wings of Desire

jdj830

Looking forward to watching. Good movie, although I despise the ending.

Mark Vaderr

You need to watch Act Of Valor! "So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart". Chief Tecumseh

Chris

I waited for over 2 years for this one, and it was worth it! Great reaction.

Brent Petty

Thank you Cassie! YES! That is one thing that some over look... The fact that the families of those whom serve also 'pay a price.'

Randolph Tirazona

Another good Meg Ryan film: City of Angels

Odd Thomas

YESSSS!!! I am SO happy you watched this! I just saw the notification and am truly excited to see your reaction video.

Michael H. the Lord of the Legacy

This is my favorite Denzel performance and one of Meg Ryan's best as well. Great movie. Matt Damon reportedly lost something like 40 pounds for this role.

Stranger2Reality

God bless our servicemen and women wherever you may be!❤
