Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (2010) - Full Reaction

Comments

So I watched this for the first time with your reaction and there were parts that I would laugh at and I would think should I laugh at that, but you were laughing too, so I figured it was OK. As always great reaction.

Ramah Mustangs

Watch The Burbs, there's no gore.

Joshua s. Jackson

Agree with y'all. We need that Borat reaction. I would actually pay extra to see that.

Shehab Dawoud

This movie is brilliant! And I love the reaction!! I seen this a few years ago and it's so funny. I love the mix of humor and horror and especially heart. The way Tucker and Dale interact together and even with Ally, that was so sweet. If you want to see another silly movie with a lot of heart, Final Girls is great. It's a indie horror comedy with a lot of winks to the older "slasher" movies like Friday the 13th and Halloween.

Avastrasza

I enjoy this movie a lot. But I really relate to certain movies having a special place because of personal experiences. Glad to hear it makes you smile. :]

RabidMango

My favorite movie reactions of hers are the comedies because I LOVE to watch her laugh. I have NO idea why she would be self-conscious!

Barry Justice

She has already watched it. She did not like her reaction so it has never been shown..

Brian McGovern

You're definitely not the only one, i too would love to see her watch the Naked Gun. Such a hilarious film.

Armchair Wizard

I do not know why Cassie feels so self conscious when reacting to comedies. I think they are sometimes her best reactions. I often lament that we will not get to see her Naked Gun reaction. I wonder if I am the only one who would like to see it. To me, this would be like if they decided to release Jerry Lewis’ The Day the Clown Cried”. You know it exists, but you will never get to see it. I love watching Cassie laugh. Especially the guilty laughs. Plenty of that to be seen here. “He said are you okay”😂 Or in Airplane” You ever seen a grown man naked”

Brian McGovern

Ive seen the crazy movie lol. Not the reaction yet. Pretty funny spoof horror.

Michael J

great idea!

Chris Arthur

That was way more fun than I remember. Shoulda been more movies with those two characters.

JC762

Fun reaction Cassie! First time seeing this movie as well. This movie is hilarious! Also very graphic. And surprisingly sweet. Great to see Alan Tudyk. And the actor that played Dale was excellent. I enjoyed that one!

Robert da Spruce

Just to echo everyone else, I think we all love that Cassie has come to enjoy a movie with this much gore and still laugh at the absurdity…just how the filmmakers intended! No way we get this type of reaction when the channel first started. One of my favorite reactions for sure!

inpham0us

My highschool sweetheart, & I watched this movie together, & quoted it constantly. She was a heart transplant patient when she was 2 years old, & she passed away. This movie means the world to me, & always makes me think of laughing with her. Rest in peace Peyton ❤️

Snapjaw

That was ridiculous and amazing at the same time. I lost it at the scene with the, big yellow device 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Omar

it doesn't fit now with the scary October but warrior (2011) is a very well done movie about family trauma and love. wold love to see a reaction to it

Jor Dooger

“Graphic”; but sadly not that unrealistic. The internet is full of content that I once thought, “No One Is That Stupid.” Seriously, no one should be accidentally shooting themselves in the 21st Century; or they need to start putting that into future Star Trek and Star Wars movies. Scene opens with some random Storm Trooper shaking his blaster whilst looking down the barrel, For Instance.

Uncle Phoenix

Enjoyable certainly, but not stupid (actually rather intelligent) and definitely not pointless.

Stick Figure Studios

I was just suggesting a Michael Caine poll as he announced his retirement.

Stick Figure Studios

This was really fun. Great reaction as you tried to balance being horrified in spots and laughing in others. Really turns the horror hillbilly tropes upside down .

Canadianant

The friendship between Tucker and Dale is one of my favorites in a movie. Tucker being so charming and trying to live his best life and Dale being just the sweetest, most caring and loyal friend. Love this movie. Alan T's humor is my style, so dry and deadpan, in this and Firefly. Thanks for the video.

Ian A

What a ridiculously dumb movie, but at the same time, totally enjoyable. I’m sure it’s a one off for me, but I had fun, what can I say?

Cole Jennett

Secondhand Lions for a tender November movie!

Chris Arthur

It was great watching her go from screaming in shock and horror one second to literally covering her mouth to keep from laughing so hard in the next second. My favorite moment in the whole movie is probably when Tucker says, "Are you okay?" to somebody who clearly isn't. It warmed my heart to see Cassie laugh out loud at that.

Stick Figure Studios

It’s just a great movie, the first time we watched it we had no clue what to expect going in. With the Vs Evil part of the title I thought it would be a Evil Dead type of movie but was very happy with what I end up watching. There’s quite a few memorabilia lines for the film and I just love the silly comedy in it. Really glad you liked it and I thought you would love the kinda cute little romantic story in it. And it’s great to see you laughing through it especially the wood chipper, we are definitely slowly turning you into a full on horror fan 😂.

Dean Holt

I think I have my favorite reaction for the month. Cassie trying hard not to laugh at some of the darker and twisted jokes just made the whole thing even more enjoyable. Have we found the perfect genre for her, horror comedies? 😄 Although she would still need them to have a soul I think with some tender and relatable characters. One of my favorite comedies that involves a hilarious miscommunication / misunderstanding is THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO LITTLE (1997) starring Bill Murray. It's such an overlooked treasure that deserves more recognition. I bet Cassie would enjoy it a lot.

Gábor Árki

I know that Cassie NEVER thought that she would think..."that's for licking my face yet again!"

Barry Justice

This is my first time watching this. That was a crazy movie. The best part was watching Cassie try and not laugh. And then apologizing for laughing at the horrible accidents. Fun movie. And fun reaction.

Rick Williams

College kids thought Tucker and Dale were mass murderers and Tucker and Dale thought the college kids were a suicide cult… was laughing so hard at this 😂 Just goes to show what happens when people don’t communicate effectively lol.

Josh Phillips

One of us...one of us!

Barry Justice

This was so funny. "Don't be sorry, it's my fault. I should have known if a guy like me talked to a girl like you, somebody would end up dead." I found the movie on Prime. You know what they say: Never judge a book by its cover. Just because someone looks like a hillbilly doesn't mean they're evil; whenever city Folks enter the country, they expect it to end up like Deliverance. Dale was like a big teddy bear. I saw him in another movie about a year ago called Mountain Men. Deliverance, now that is a scary movie in a completely different way.

Eddie Perkins

this movie for some reason reminds mew of a movie called the stupids...... PLEASE WATCH THE STUPIDS. cuase its stuipid n wonderful....like this movie. Or maybe strange magic......

Cojuancidence

I love this movie cause it's so stupidly daft in a good way, that bee scene still makes me laugh even though i've watched it many times

Gipsy Undead

I haven’t seen this. Have always wanted to just never got around to it. Now i have an excuse to watch it Edit: that movie was soo stupid, pointless and so enjoyable.

Alex Gorell

It is great to see Cassie laughing at utterly graphic, absurdly over the top, yet horribly funny moments in movies like this. It has been said before, but she really IS one of us now!

Mike LL

Great movie and absolutely fantastic reaction! I have loved this movie from the first time I saw it. A buddy and I used to hold periodic movie nights (he had access to a private theater and we'd grill out and half a dozen or so of us would eat, drink and watch movies). This was one of our favorites. It's well crafted (with references to Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Evil Dead series, Just Before Dawn and a host of other, similar films), well acted and well directed. Fun, funny, a bit scary and full of heart. An absolute home run.

Just Plain Bob

I thought this was just a little to silly. Great reaction btw as always Cassie. You did a tremendous job. I have been thinking alot about the live that you did on Saturday. I have a ton of thoughts on it.

Zachary K. (Verified Swiftie)

I only saw parts of this movie back when it came out. I was so tired I missed a lot of it drifting in and out so it'll be fun to revisit this one. 😁 I don't fall asleep during movies often but when I do...oh boy! 😄 I fell asleep in the theatre during Gladiator. 😒

Zane From Canada

This is one of my favorites that I only discovered last year. Tale… err Ducker, I mean umm… Dale is a sweet fella. I think this would have been slightly better without the extreme gore, but I get that it’s part of the “fun” for some :) This has been a year of semi-repulsive titles hiding great, endearing characters that you (and we) sort of love forever. Alan Tudyk (too-dik) or (two-duck). BTW - Your Editor is on fire this year!

Ike

I knew you'd like this one. And yes. You were allowed to laugh. That's what makes this movie so fantastic. The ridiculousness of it all. The constant accidents mixed with the heavy gore. With nods to other horror movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Tucker running with the chainsaw) and Friday the 13th (Dale standing in the misty forest with a machete). Fantastic movie with great rewatchability.

Eric

I want to know what they needed lubricated condoms for.

Brian McGovern

“… and Jack Black!” Everyone at home: heh… nope. Also Tyler Labine might be the worst interaction I’ve ever had with a celeb/actor… crushingly disappointingly awful.

djKENTO

It is so adorable how Cassie has to keep telling herself not to laugh.

Mike Lemon

So apparently, you and Mari are now in a contest to see how many times you can get me to watch the same movie in 24 hours.... 2 for 2 you guys are..... (I'm not mad about it....)

David Bennett

Starting the full reaction now. My first time to watch the movie. Edit: Funny movie. I liked it. Had gore but also heart. "they cut off his bowling fingers."

Clay F

This is a hilarious satire/spoof of horror films every bit as smart and clever as SCREAM or CABIN IN THE WOODS, only this time it's the stupid, snobby, spoiled, selfish, horny teenagers who are the villains and the sweet, kind-hearted backwoods redneck hillbillies that are the heroes. Love the two leads. Always puzzled me why we never got a sequel. I'd watch a whole series of TUCKER & DALE movies. So glad you watched this.. Can't wait to see this reaction.

Stick Figure Studios

"We’ve had a doozy of a day" 😆 I only had time to watch the intro and the first few minutes, but I'm already smiling. It certainly elevated my Monday morning and I'm looking forward to finishing it later. I'm always amazed by the range of Alan Tudyk. He is such a versatile talent. He can play both sympathetic and super likeable characters and crazy, psycho villains with ease. Tyler Labine was also a great cast for Dave. Those two really make the movie. I think Jack Black would have been too over-the-top for the role.

Gábor Árki

First! Yay! Here’s hoping Cassie and Carly read this and enjoy my suggestion. I met Alan Tudyk, and if you haven’t I hope you do as well. Met him at a Calgary Comic Expo, where i sometimes Cosplay as John Candy characters. Alan is a kind soul who’s easily content with people. I enjoyed him in Resident Alien, and as the Android K2SO in Rouge One. BUT, BUT, BUT! Tyler Labine was in an amazing movie called Cottage Country with Malin Ackerman. Not sure if you’ve seen it, but Tyler is incredible in it! Plays a similar character to his character in Tucker and Dale. Oh! The only problem I had with this movie, is one of the college kids looked a little too much like Justin Trudeau. Of course, now he looks like Justin’s college aged nephew I hope it didn’t take you out of the movie. Imagine! A POLITICIAN, as a villain in a movie! LOL
