Hey guys!!

Well I have to admit I am feeling a bit sorry for myself. I am STILL FLIPPING SICK!! I just feel like dump city every day and this cough is so annoying. Im gonna need a zoom in on Carly's face when Im coughing my lungs out during our Clue reaction last night. I can picture the disgust haha. Then my oldest got a nasty case of strep this weekend, so none of us got much sleep, poor guy was so miserable. And theeeeeeeeennnnnn (no and then) aaaannnnddd thhheeeennnn my parents were supposed to come this weekend. I was really looking forward to it but last minute they couldn't. In hindsight it was definitely good they didn't come because our living room is like a hospital wing right now but still....

Ok time for 3 good things

1. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift-Here FOR IT! Never been so invested in an NFL game before yesterday. He seems fun and she needs fun after artsy Joe and ick Matty. He's famous in his own right, no competition, and he won't need to dull her light.

2. I am very excited for Halloween this year and to spookify my house this week!

3. Antibiotics for strep throat!

This week we are finishing off FOur Factor week with JW4, CLUE (I was always Miss Scarlett, who were you?) and our Halloween LITE poll winner-Zombieland!

Planning on this Friday 9/29 for our top-tier patreon LIVE! I'm thinking just a hangout? maybe some games? Low key? Let me know your thoughts!

Also CREATURE FEATURE POLL coming ASAP-what do you want to see on the poll?

Love you all!

Just joined. I really enjoy your reaction videos. I've watched the Rocky series a half dozen times, but very new to this Patreon and very green at how to navigate. I hope you and your family are feeling better soon Cassie.

James Sweeney

Get well soon. I just finished watching "Harvey" for the umpteenth time. This is a wonderful, delightful comedy starring James Stewart. It is a must see! It's about a man who walks around with a 6 ft. invisible white rabbit. No joke. An incredible light comedy from 1950. You would love it!

Jay E Bjorklund

A Canadian movie (I guess you know that) That will be perfect for Cassie πŸ™‚

BjΓΆrn Karlsson

Nice.

Richard Maurer

Cassie's watched The Shining, I think she'd have no problem with the Uncanny.

Richard Maurer

I like Cube πŸ₯². Not so scary thou, more unpleasant. πŸ€”πŸ€”

BjΓΆrn Karlsson

Certainly, too much for Carly...and maybe also for Cassie...1977 The Uncanny I won't provide any spoilers, but I feel this might be too intense. Cassie how to feel about a cat themed horror movie?

John Liebling

Feel better soon! Sorry you're down.

Tuck Tucker

So sorry you still not feeling well. Also sorry that your child's not feeling well. One suggestion is the original 13 Ghosts(1960).

Stuart Guthrie

When I think of "Scary, but not too scary", my mind immediately goes to movies that have "horror elements" but aren't necessarily horror movies. Here is a short list: Blade (1998) Pitch Black (2000) The Guest (2014) They Live (1988) Manhunter (1986) The Mothman Prophecies (2002) Army of Drakness (1992) (Obviously Evil Dead 1&2 are pure horror) Vampires (1998)

Roy Batty

Feel better. Nope gets my vote for creature feature or Pete’s Dragon (live action) if you’re still sick. Pete’s Dragon is the cinema equivalent of a fuzzy blanket and a warm cocoa.

Jacob King

The Thing From Another World 1951

Douglas Armstead Jr

Get better Ehy! (sorry for the spelling, i barely speak Minnisootan, much less Canadiyam, tho I do love sweet potatoes.)

GomezAddams

I like Bill Maurer's and Richard Maurer's lists (are you guys related?). "Them!" is often credited as the first "radiation caused the problem" movie, and you get to see Santa Claus from "Miracle on 34th Street". Bill noted Steve McQueen in the 1958 "The Blob", his last role before stardom. "The Blob" was released 2 summers in a row, and then again a few years later. You can see Clint Eastwood (briefly) as a fighter pilot in 1955's "Tarantula" - another radiation nightmare.

Love all the suggestions! I have an October theme suggestion. Instead of "Scary But Not Too Scary October" how about POPCORN & CHILLS. I hope that is an inappropriate but not too inappropriate a suggestion! Also, how about an 80's anthology SCARY movie poll. CAT'S EYE TWILIGHT ZONE THE MOVIE CREEPSHOW CREEPSHOW 2 Or a good Stephen King poll would be fun. Things like MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE and SILVER BULLET. I know this group would be able to suggest a lot of good (or bad) ones.
