Chuck is very fun. This is an excellent Cassie & Carly recommendation. Gabor missed a critical thing though in his recommendation....the first plot is fun spy stuff, the second plot is a romance for most of three seasons at least. Its a lighter, funnier Alias without all the history.

ContrabandDonut

Thank you Cassie! I'm both excited and dreading it. BTW, I sent the hat & the moth, so glad you enjoyed... well, at least one of them. lol!

Bryan Fritchie

Now that you’ve reacted to it I can say this: watching you open packages makes me think of a major scene in the Nic Cage movie It Could Happen to You

JL_83

Buffy! Can't go wrong with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan and Charisma Carpenter and many other babes I'm sure I've missed. Lol

Jacob Colson

@ Bill W - Thanks for the tip, I'll check her channel out.

Richard Maurer

It's not a horror movie, but this would be a GREAT choice for October! I think it will pleasantly surprise you. It's not doing too bad on your Popcorn Requests list either (#128 overall, #32 among Sci-Fi, #24 among Mystery, #14 among Fantasy, and #55 among Thrillers).

Sundiver

100% agree. I would love a reason to go back through that show again. Same goes for Doctor Who. When it comes to that show, just start with the reboot season one in 2005. The show, in a nutshell, is about an alien that travels around in a time/dimension Machine that looks like a police callbox. He cannot die, and instead regenerates into a new form whenever his life is nearing an end (a clever way to explain to young viewers when a new actor takes on the role). He goes around the universe, helping those who need it. By the time we joint the reboot, we meet the ninth version of The Doctor.

There's another Cass reacting to Buffy currently. https://www.youtube.com/@officialcassreacts

Bill W

I know. The theatrical in HD is a bit easier to find, but there is at least one 1080p version of the Special Edition as well combined from multiple sources. I think depending on which DVD Cassie has received, it may even be in 4:3 "TV optimized" format.

Gábor Árki

Thanks Cassie! It's both exciting and scary. 😬 I couldn't wait till tomorrow to watch, but did FF through a few parts. I sent the hat and the moth, so I hope you enjoy both of them. 🤣

Bryan Fritchie

Dark City is a must see!

Just Plain Bob

Cassie, since you brought it up, I would love it if you watched Buffy for the channel. One of my all time favorites, even better than Firefly, imo.

Richard Maurer

Thank you for posting the link! I couldn’t find the piece on PiB until you did.

Just Plain Bob

I Support This.

Larry Darrell

Abyss- There are a few 1080p versions floating out there on the seas if you care to go that route (probably ripped from Amazon when they had it). Or did you already find that?

Mike Lemon

[sigh] This was so much fun Cassie! I always enjoy particpating in these livestreams! You're so fun to chat with! How funny, I'm the first one to leave a comment on your livestream after you logged off! Without repeating to much, like I promised after the livestream, I resent you the email with the clips and the voting poll idea for The Three Stooges! Whoever it was that sent you those DVD's of the entire Three Stooges is my hero, I'm glad someone on here agrees with me that you should react to these guys lol! Take care Cassie, this was so much fun, have a great evening with the family and a great dinner, love and support always, you (and Carly) are the best, you are my #1 favorite YT reactor to movies/TV shows, [virtual hug] God bless you and your family, and as always [snaps fingers & winks] stay classy Cassie🥰😁😉👍😇🙏🌹

Wesley White

Cassie, I joined your live late and asked a few times if you would add The Rainmaker to Witness Week, but I don’t know if you saw it. That’s a you and Carly movie. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Cassie, if you're reading this, a couple of thoughts I wanted to write superchats about, but I'm not sure why I was always getting a weird error and the messages didn't get through. I'm glad you liked the Purolator hat. When you mentioned looking for it on eBay I quicky checked and found it. Seems I wasn't the only one. 😃 Hope to see it for your next Robert Duvall reaction. Some recommendations: SECONDHAND LIONS (2003) a heartfelt story with him and Michael Caine, and LONESOME DOVE (1989) a western miniseries I haven't seen yet but is getting so much love in the comments that I'm very interested. For a series to watch off channel check out CHUCK (2007-2012) if you haven't seen it yet. It's a fun spy, action, comedy, drama series with a lot of pop cult references. I think you would enjoy it. THE ABYSS is a movie with two versions: the theatrical one and the special edition one. The theatrical one is shorter and leaves out some important character scenes and a whole subplot to squeeze it into near 2 hours. The special edition one is longer and more complete IMO. I prefer the special edition and I think you should consider reacting to that one. Neither version is streaming and are only available in quite old and bad quality DVD versions. If you decide to watch the special edition one, I can help you find a good quality copy if you ping me directly. Finally, you should not think about Star Trek as a replacement for Firefly. They have different styles, themes and messages and both of them are one of a kind on their own right, similar to Bond vs MI. I know watching such long series as Star Trek is out of question (and actually support the decision), but given they are mostly very episodic, you can cherry pick a few selected episodes to get a feel for the series. My recommendation is the following: 1. Some selected episodes from the original series 2. The 6 movies with the original cast 3. Some selected episodes from the next generation series 4. The 4 next generation movies 5. The 3 new JJ Abrams movies made after 2009

Gábor Árki

Random thoughts from the live (minus the last half hour or so)- If you haven't seen the 1995 Pride and Prejudice miniseries, it needs added to your list. Biopic - La Bamba (1987) I say don't watch the last episode of Ted Lasso. I don't think it was a good end. Also, I too rarely watch the last few episodes of a show. Teen wolf is not on the Letterboxd list. Neither is Old Yeller if that has been seen. Carly safe-ish October movies (not necessarily "horror", but related). Mr. Brooks (2007) [Kevin Costner], The Burbs (1989) [Tom Hanks], Perfect Host (2010)

Just wanted to shout out a hello to my Scandinavian brothers. I'm a first generation American born, but my parents are both from Denmark! Mom's from Copenhagen. Dad's from Odense. Hope you enjoyed your midsummer festivals!

Mark Vaderr

Björn Karlsson

Haha no problem, we will have another soon.

Cassie

Congrats!! That's so fun!!

Cassie

Yes!

Cassie

Hmm I'm not sure?? I don't have the option to refuse or allow packages from the PO Box, I just pick them up! I would call the shipping service and find out what happened.

Cassie

james flack

Is this gonna be on youtube?

David Bunnetto

Just watched the Access Hollywood piece and I was so happy that I sent a link to just about everyone I know. (The list was short, but distinguished.)

Uncle Phoenix

I'll be there with bells on lol!🥰😁😉👍🌹

Wesley White

Ha ha, popping in... very funny :D

Jens Kristensen

Very much - I hope to see you there, Björn

Jens Kristensen

I agree :) Much better time for us here in Europe :)

Björn Karlsson

I am at my friends wedding,I promise I'll be popping in.♡

Celeste McAllister

Thank you!

My_Cousin_Mose

Very cool. An hour to midnight in Denmark. Thats a little bit better than last time when it was 4:30 in the middle of the night, or the coming Dawn. I almost expected to see Gandalf and the riders of Rohan out of my window.

Gábor Árki

I forgot all about that. Any chance you could throw me a link?

My_Cousin_Mose

I just watched their Access Hollywood interview. They were great. It makes me happy that they are just being themselves and don't change whether they are talking to us or someone like Tom Cruise or Mario Lopez.

Andrew Ramos

That is like 🤔🧮 23:00 - 02:00 CEST. I can manage that. 😃 First time I sent something and I'm excited whether it arrived in one piece and how the quality is, because it was a blind out of whim purchase from the other side of the world.

Gábor Árki

Thats 10PM GMT for anyone in europe

John Drake

Yes! So so excited!

Nathan Jasper, the Artist Formerly Known as Primary

I'll be at my daughter's wedding shower, but I'll check it out tomorrow. 👍🏻

Bryan Fritchie

I won't be able to do the live but you know I will catch it tonight and give it a like and comment. I don't think my package will be there in time. Left ID this morning! Curse my metal body. I Wasn't fast enough.
