Time to explore corporate espionage dramas. And if you like this genre with darker horror flavor, perhaps you can try Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino’s Devils Advocate which also co-star Charlize Theron & Connie Nielsen

2023-07-14 04:00:37 +0000 UTCAs a big "West Wing" fan, it's strange to see Martin Sheen addressing someone else as Mr. President! But as you said, Cassie, Michael Douglas is very presidential too! And, technically, he came first! :) Season 1 of "The West Wing" and "The American President" have very similar story arcs. In both stories, a Democratic President tries to increase his re-electability by being a centrist. However, his timid centrism is causing him to support ineffectual policies. He realizes he needs to reembrace his liberal values, and, as a result, he achieves great popularity and success.

Practically the same character. :-) I'm a fan of his (and certainly of many of his movies), but there is some truth to the criticism that "He doesn't so much act as direct himself." (Again, I'd be happy to see more of his movies here.)

The movie's co-stars include "Crimson Tide" alums Gene Hackman and George Dzundza, along with Will Patton. Anyone else recommend this movie?
