The Magnificent Seven (1960) - Full Reaction

Sssoooo this movie does NOT have John Wayne, I repeat not John Wayne the former president πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ or John Wayne cowboy actor haha I went the whole movie guys. Well this was a fun horse ride wild wild west adventure! It had high stakes and a great story, just missing a proper montage. This felt 100 percent cozy to me because it felt like exactly the kind of movie that my dad would always be watching on lazy Sunday afternoons!

The 2016 version is coming tonight!

The Magnificent Seven (1960) - Full Reaction

Comments

No matter which version of this story, I will always say that the same character is the best: Kyuzo in Seven Samurai/Samurai 7 (the anime version), Britt in the Magnificent Seven. He's just so fantastic and I adore him. The youngest one didn't die here because he was an amalgamation of the young samurai and Kikuchiyo rather than just one of them, same as how Bernardo here was given Kikuchiyo's trait of having all the young children attach themselves to him.

Yeah, I LOL'd at that one.

Gun butt not their own butt Cassie.

When is the link dropping for this? I've never seen this long of a wait for the download before

I've been waiting for this reaction. The Magnificent Seven is one of my top five westerns. I found a large painting of the Magnificent Seven and hung it over my fireplace. I've seen Seven Samurai but prefer this one. Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, and James Coburn you just can't do better. Really enjoy your reactions.

So proud of you Cassie for the two LotR references. In fact as the kids were waving to each other I was thinking "The beacons are lit! Gondor calls for aid!" only for you to say "And Rohan will answer!" a little later. I nearly fell out of my chair. :-)

The link does work!

I'll try it again. John Wayne became a star in 1939 with "Stagecoach,"

Perhaps no one else will suggest these but Yul Brynner's most famous role (he played it in the movie, in a TV series, and in countless stage performances) was as the King of Siam in "The King and I," and John Wayne

This movie is a classic, to me. I watch it every year at least once, and I can quote so many lines from it. So glad that you finally got to see it!
