It is too "cute" for some but Spaced Invaders is an old favorite of mine. The Martian that channels Jack Nicholson always makes me laugh. Great Halloween movie for younger kids.

Speaking of war movies, sadly we just lost the legendary Jim Brown. At least it's a good reason to put THE DIRTY DOZEN or MARS ATTACKS! on a poll?

Paul Stelter

When you do it on a steam-powered boat, it's only proper etiquette to exchange first names afterwards. Africa isn't entirely uncivilized. Idk how you guys behave up in Alberta, but...

Archer anyone? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldp7Vsv4IBA

We had a pontoon boat at our family vacation house named The African Queen. We got it used, and already named. My Mom and Dad both loved the movie so we kept the name. After a number of years we got a newer boat and sold the Queen. The new owner promised to keep the name as well. Long live the Queen!

Yes he was the one in Casablanca and he will be the one in the Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

Christopher Carr

"Is it a love story? Is it a comedy? Is it a war movie?" Yes! All of the above! 😍

This was one of my mom's favorite movies and it became one of mine. She adored Katherine Hepburn as an actress. You really should explore her movies; I think you'll come to appreciate how great she was. Charlie Allnut was quite a departure for Bogart. That's why he won an Oscar for it.

Wow some actual popcorn in bed during this one!

Bogart and Hepburn... yeah... pretty famous.

Terry Yelmene

The main interrogator aboard the German ship (the clean cut one on the viewer’s left) was played by Theodore Bikel, a great actor, singer and humanitarian who should be much more famous than he is. He also had a supporting role in the film of My Fair Lady and appeared in a couple of westerns, but his real legacy was as a Broadway performer, and he was one of several stars who should have played the roles they made famous on film but didn’t.* The role of Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music was written for him and it was his guitar and folk singing skills that inspired the composition of Edelweiss. (It’s infuriating that Christopher Plummer hated that song.) He also holds the record for the number of performances in which he played Tevye from Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway and elsewhere, over 4,000 times, and it’s sad his version was never captured on film. In any case he was a giant. This was his first film role. *See also Julie Andrews in My Fair Lady, Carol Channing in Hello, Dolly, Ann Reinking in Chicago, etc.
