Trivia Winner's Picks Poll!
Added 2023-05-05 17:50:06 +0000 UTCSSSSoooo our second place winner winner chicken dinner BEN L has sent his picks! I decided to put them to a poll as I don't know much about any of them and don't want to look into them too much as I want to go in more blind? We always want more classics polls anyways right?! Congrats Ben and thanks again to everyone who tried and failed ;) JK

Because that would be too good to be true and too much to ask for. Seriously, I suppose their best film together could arguably be ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES (1938) with Pat O'Brian and you could go with THE ROARING TWENTIES (1938) but it is just not quite as good. James Cagney may just be my favorite actor.

2023-05-14 21:30:02 +0000 UTCIt is was amazing!! That would be my pick for a Bogart film. Plus it has the love of his life in it.

2023-05-09 22:52:06 +0000 UTCThe Big Sleep is the definitive private eye film noir IMO. And Bogart is fantastic in the role of Philip Marlowe.

2023-05-09 17:09:17 +0000 UTCFor those who love Bogie movies why not add James Cagney to the mix?

2023-05-09 05:54:55 +0000 UTCI would LOVE that. Chaplin and Keaton were absolute geniuses.

2023-05-09 04:07:31 +0000 UTCYou should watch This Is Where I Leave You! Star studded and a very touch Dramedy (Drama/Comedy) about family dynamics. Great movie!

2023-05-08 19:05:12 +0000 UTCI probably have It Happened One Night a little higher in my personal rankings, but I really would like Cassie to see The African Queen more for some reason.

2023-05-08 09:49:23 +0000 UTCYou can't go wrong with a Bogart film. I just rewatched "The Big Sleep"(1946). One of the best Detective movies.

2023-05-08 03:36:32 +0000 UTCWhen I saw that Ben had selected The More the Merrier for One of His Five that Cassie Might Watch, I got excited because thereβs a Chance She Might actually watch The More the Merrier. It appears there was No Chance that Cassie would watch The More the Merrier. Oh Well. As Long as Ben is Happy, thatβs All That Matters. :-)

2023-05-08 01:00:40 +0000 UTCHmmm.... I'm not a big fan of Humphery Bogart, but Sahara from 1943 is a great ww2 movie π

2023-05-07 22:49:28 +0000 UTCTrue that. And this might help us get the original SABRINA in the lineup. Bogie may have hated doing it, but he is wonderful as Linus Larrabee. And Audrey... Enough said.

2023-05-07 19:59:56 +0000 UTCLove that both the leads in this poll are Humphrey Bogart movies. Been a while since Casablanca

2023-05-07 01:15:08 +0000 UTCHow about two more polls... The Best of Charlie Chaplain and the Best of Buster Keaton. Movies from both will be a huge surprise. Fun to watch people from 90 to 100 or even more than a 100 years ago.

2023-05-07 00:07:48 +0000 UTCI've only heard of 2 of these and didn't care for either. Y'all have at it!

2023-05-06 22:48:56 +0000 UTCThey are all good, but African Queen by a mile in this poll!
