Hey guys! Here's the YT edit for Licence to Kill, which will premiere in just a few hours!

Here is the full reaction to this movie!
Grammatically, the 's' spelling is used in the US when the word is both a noun and a verb. In the UK, the word uses a 'c' when it is a noun, but an 's' when it is a verb. Therefore, the title in the UK is correct as 'Licence To Kill.' However, the title would have used a 's' and be harmonized with the US if it had been a verb, for example: 'Licensed To Kill.'

to be fair, you're right, he doesn't have a leg to stand on!

Then he may be lying about Bond getting his job back! 😆

Yes, it's a shame that they won't be reacting to TWINE. That tribute was also added to the DVD editions.

I remember seeing a ‘making of’ on tv when it was released, and remember how complex setting up the truck going along on it’s side/edge scene was.

I had the TWINE VHS as a kid and it began with a lovely tribute to Desmond over Nobody Does It Better. Part of the reason I wish they were watching The World Is Not Enough is it’s his final film, and the last scene between him and Bond is so touching.

Felix seems a little too cheerful at the end...

Which is kind of funny because the Felix in this movie is played by the same actor as in Live and Let Die. The shark got him eventually.

The actor who played Q, Desmond Llewylyn, appeared in 17 James Bond films, which was more than any other actor. He got to work with Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan. He tragically died in a car crash in 1999 aged 85. His final Bond film, The World Is Not Enough (1999), was released in cinemas just a few days before he died. Licence to Kill (1989) was the one film that he had more screen time and more to do than any of the other Bond films he featured in.

At 28:16, that actor portraying President Lopez, is the son of the late actor Pedro Armendariz, who portrayed Kerim Bey in From Russia With Love (1963)

A few years back a YouTuber called The Unusual Suspect, did this really good fan-edit film trailer of Licence To Kill (1989) in the style of Mission Impossible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qC2fLUHEUGw

The whole James Bond series is a blueprint on the evolution of western society for the last 60 years, its changes, its adaptions and political correctnesses of the times. I was 13 when Dr. No came out, so I have a bit of a different view on the franchise, than say, my younger Patreon members. -Just passin' time, till my milk is warm.........🥱

Forgot to mention this on the original post for this movie. The whole Felix Leiter being feed to the shark actually happens in the book version of Live and Let Die

All the stunts etc.. Were practical, no CGI. Definitely adds a punch.
