Hey Hey Popperopolis's

Hope you are having a decent Tuesday. I feel like March is like the Tuesday of the year, not great, not terrible, just there. We had a horrible, november-like snow blizzard this week, it felt like a cold punch in the nose. I have this silly thought that once the flowers start blooming and the kids start scootering outside and I can feel the sun on my shoulders everything will be ok.

It's a weird day. There was that sickening and truly heart-wrenching news yesterday about the school shooting. I had that pit in my stomach, lump in my throat, tears stinging my eyes all day. I have a child who is very close to the age of the babies that were killed I truly don't have words.

I feel torn, because I try to keep this as a fun and light escape on the internet, but I also don't want to seem like my head in the sand and pretend that everything is ok. I know it is not. I get so many comments on how the reactions and channel can be a reprieve for people's anxiety, depression, loneliness so I want to keep it that way, but I have to acknowledge that I am feeling so down and fed up that this keeps happening. In what world can people kill innocent, sweet kids. I don't know the answer, thats part of why it feels so helpless today, but I can pray, I can teach my kids, I can plead for an answer and continue to have hope. I don't this has anything to do with politics, it only has to do with how we keep our children safe. Let's be tender and respectful of each other.

Above is what is coming up this week! Let's talk about Bond for a sec. I hope I didn't confuse people last week. We are still planning on doing both Timothy Dalton's Bond movies. Pierce Brosnan will just be the next poll because he has more than two. I think after reading all the comments last week, I will just do two of PB Bonds, then maybe in a while, we will go back and watch some favorites we missed from all the past Bonds.

Also for War Movie Wednesday, should I watch the runner up for WMW the following month and then a new poll every other month or new poll each time? What do you think?

We are heading out of town to find sunshine for spring break soon. There may just be two uploads in two weeks from now but hopefully I can get ahead enough to keep it at 3!

I love you guys, I love it here, thanks for being so wonderful!

Cassie

Comments

It's really good

BRT

One of the best love stories ever shown, "King Kong," the 2005 version. I think both Cassie and Carly would love this.

John Wingfield

Since you seem to be having trouble distinguishing between two separate incidents - that's the right definition for what happened 2 years ago. But not this Kentucky protest. Totally different things happened in each case. Hope that clears it up for you,

Richard Maurer

I'm using the definition that we've been using and hearing about nonstop for the past 2 years.

My_Cousin_Mose

We apparently have very different views on what "storming" means. So to be fair I looked up the definition of storming. From the Oxford Dictionary - "the sudden forceful attack and capture of a building or other place by troops". Hhhmmmm, that didn't really happen in Kentucky, did it?

Richard Maurer

Yeah I never said they attacked cops or made terrorists threats. I said they stormed the capital. Which did happen. It's certainly worse than the picture you paint but again it wasn't a horric event- I brought it up in response to you making the joke that you wondered if trans people would storm the capital...and then the protesters did lol.

My_Cousin_Mose

Coming from someone who is blatantly gaslighting - I watched videos already, people chanting, sitting down linking arms and getting arrested happens at most protests and is a far cry from "storming the capital" and you know it. No one attacked police, destroyed property, made terroristic and murderous threats, etc. Nice try, but you proved my point that this is just you trying to make something out of nothing. Case closed.

Richard Maurer

What did I make up? There are pictures and video of protestors inside the capitol building disrupting the hearing. And 19 people were arrested for "criminal trespass" (the same charge many j6th people have). All you have to do is go on twitter (or youtube) and type "Kentucky capitol" and you can see video. Nice attempt at gaslighting.

My_Cousin_Mose

She will have other polls besides war movie polls. It's just one war movie a month. That is not a whole lot. And war movies get huge views on her YouTube channel. It is just a smart business decision, and we get to watch some good movies. Talk about a win-win-win.

Mike LL

Lol. man, I'm just joking around. But since you want to be serious, nobody "stormed the Kentucky capitol". It's not even on the "legitimate" right-wing websites, who would be jumping all over it if it actually happened. If you're just going to make stuff up I not going to waste any more time on this.

Richard Maurer

Stop trying to make this about Trump dude I'm not gonna bite. Trans activists did storm the Kentucky capital building yesterday. These people are serious.

My_Cousin_Mose

Thank you!!

William Bryan

Robert, My_Cousin_Mose, I think you are missing William's point. He clearly doesn't mean that the murder of children is not sad or abhorrent. Quite the opposite.

Grad

Lighten up, you teed that one right up for me. But now that you mention it I wonder if the Trans protesters will do anything crazy? Like break into the Capital and assault police officers?

Richard Maurer

I would like a poll that is based on suggestions by the patrons. Every patron gets to submit one (1) movie for the poll. It could be done like a tournament or just one very big poll.

Grad

Seriously dude? First of all way to make this about Trump and politics. And No they have been calling for this "Trans day of rage" for weeks or months now and its this weekend. I wouldnt have said anything but since this seems to be the motivation behind mondays attack it seems they are serious.

My_Cousin_Mose

@Krusty - I 'm thinking Universal through Hammer, and everything in between.

Richard Maurer

+1 for Pacino's Merchant... that flick had me quoting Shakespeare for months.

ArsTropica

Can't wait for Tombstone.

Bill W

Ohhh classic horror would be cool. Are you thinking like Vincent Price, Lon Chaney, Boris Karloff Classic?

Krusty “Topher”

Is Maga coming back?

Richard Maurer

Still waiting for Classic horror and Martial arts movie polls, but I'm not holding my breathe because I'd be long dead if I was and that would really suck.

Richard Maurer

Looking forward to DRIVING MISS DAISY, whenever it comes out!

Ben Livingstone

Cassie your soul is so pure and a reaction channel is intended to be upbeat and folks don't want to hear depressing stuff. I understand your conundrum. Just know our heart aches just as much as you do. I do appreciate making this post. Stay beautiful and joyous as you can be, don't let the world take that joy away.

KevG

I'll second that. I prefer movie reactions because with all due respect, I enjoy reactions to things that I have seen and whether I've seen a TV show or not, it's a lot of time to watch it once and then all over again. I'm not saying I don't or wont. Shows like Cobra Kai or Arcane are fantastic and I can dip into reactions on those. But it's a much larger time commitment than "Oh, Cassie is reacting to movie X. I want to see her reaction". I do like themed polls because if it's a random assortment then it's influenced more by people's genre preferences than by what is a good movie. So one week a war poll, next week a sci fi poll (*cough* Barbarella *cough*). That's cool. But not same genre repeatedly. Unless it's something which is a bit of a special case like with the Bond movies you can contrast and compare the different eras and Bonds. But generally not. If it is a TV show reaction then I prefer it to be something a little more unusual. There are loads of reactions to the Mandalorian, etc. But something like Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated is an overlooked gem. But with the exception of more niche shows that feel more special therefore, I prefer movie reactions because it's harder to give up seven plus hours than to watch a movie reaction.

Hondo the Cat

If you're in the DC area stay safe this weekend.

My_Cousin_Mose

Very true! When you switch it up each month all of these are possible 👍🤷‍♂️

Krusty “Topher”

I would like to see a Shakespeare poll. Swell Mel's Hamlet, Pacino's Merchant, Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet... So many great movies.

Mike Lemon

War! Gud Gad! What is it good for...? 🎵 Perhaps Cassie is secretly bloodthirsty and has built her reaction empire on warfare... 🤣

ArsTropica

I don't think there is a parent out there. That doesn't shares your exact feelings towards the shooting. Good Morning Vietnam is a very good movie. Comedy always helps. Robin Williams is really funny. Although I thought The Birdcage is funnier. Also the Mandalorion is getting good.

Zachary K.

Poll, Poll, Poll That’s a funny sounding word. Poll

Larry Darrell

Please delete this post. It’s both 100% political and incredibly offensive. Regardless of your stance on gun rights or abortion, we should all be able to agree that the murder of children is abhorrent.

Just Plain Bob

That was a very good message Cassie. Yes I believe praying and having hope can help. Looking forward to Good Morning Vietnam reaction.

Stuart Guthrie Jr.

Excellent idea!

Mike LL

we need a classic comedy poll and not 80s classic but charlie chaplin, abbott and costello, arsenic and old lace, harvey, bringing up baby etc

Sean Stuart

Love all those ideas as substitute over a constant monthly war movie poll!

Krusty “Topher”

I keep suggesting doing top 50 polls with a twist, but so far didn't get much support in the comments. These would get us a much deeper dive into the suggestions. It would be possible to pick a genre, filter for that and do a genre-specific top 50 draw&poll. Although IMDB genre categorization can be a bit wonky. Or another way could be doing decade top 50 poll. For example, by rolling a dice: 1 - pre '70s; 2 - 70s; 3 - 80s; 4 - 90s; 5 - 2000s; 6 - 2010s+. Then filtering for this release date range and doing a decade-specific top 50 draw&poll.

Gábor Árki

Different Genre is a good idea.

Captain Caveman

We really don’t have a ton of variety polls this year. We had the What World return to poll. The Runners up poll. And the Top 50 poll. (Not counting Bond polls) All of these were great. Good variety in those too! So if the war polls are taking the place of polls like these every month I don’t want a Monthly war movie poll. If it’s in addition to these variety polls then ok I guess. I mean Bridge on the River Kwai was already supposed to be watched yet is still being put on polls.🤷‍♂️ How bout different genre poll each month? Or different Directors poll? Like a Scorcese poll. Coen Bros poll. Etc

Krusty “Topher”

I agree, good point. Licensed to Kill is Bond unleased, and also fun to see more of Q in the field.

Richard Bourne

I'd "vote" for doing a war movie poll, doing the top two and then do a new poll with new war movies in two weeks for the next two and so on... :D

Paul Mellette

Murder is murder. And yesterday 3 children and 3 adults were murdered in a school in Tennessee. You can love the 2nd amendment and still feel sadness when a CHILD is killed.

My_Cousin_Mose

I vote for variety, so no war movie runner up and new polls every month- not replace the winner with an alternate, all 8 (or however many) with new picks. For those not interested in these incredibly long "series" or themes, it has been a bit much waiting for the one offs. What (guessing), 20 spots for Star Wars, 25 for Marvel, 10 for Rocky, Bond, Mission Impossible, and on and on. Now a possible 26 a year for war movies? It's a lot.

Mike Lemon

Thank you, Cassie for sharing your feelings on this horrible tragedy that happened in Nashville. I cannot imagine how this affects you in particular. We are all extremely grateful to have you and your reactions help us through these difficult times. God Bless You, Cassie. As for the future War Movie Wednesday, I do like the idea of you creating a new poll with different movies each time. However, I love CRIMSON TIDE, and I would love to see you react to it. You love both Denzel Washington & Gene Hackman, and you would also get a clean shaven-buzz haired Aragorn too.

Mark Vaderr

Oh, please not this. Can't we escape this nonsense here? Save the proselytizing for somewhere else.

Richard Maurer

That's actually kind of clever - Hachi as a sneeze, lol.

Richard Maurer

Yes please, please watch the WMW runner up. I voted for Crimson Tide and I can’t believe it didn’t win. Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington. Need I say more!

Luke Godfrey

I vote New pole each time.

Tom Ocasek

I’ve lived in Nashville all my life, with the exception of my college years. I know exactly where that school is and I used to frequent that area all the time before moving from West Nashville. It was only about five miles from where I lived. I can’t imagine the depth of depravity necessary for someone to be able to murder others in cold blood, particularly children. I love Nashville and I’m proud of it and my state. It’s heartbreaking that this happened.

Just Plain Bob

She's definitely watching all five Craig movies to finish this particular run, as Carly has already seen them.

Tej Shah

"License to Kill" is waaaaaaay underrated (and the toughest Bond film until "Casino Royale).

Dave Sees Movies

that was concise intelligent response, I was almost ready to leave PiB because of the vitriol if your opinion differs from others. seems you cant have an opinion of even who your favorite Bond actor is without an attack.

zynjams

You can keep all of that snow. It has been in the 80's here.

Timothy Roberts

You know I'm still waiting for you to do Twins and Passenger 57.

Brandon Gibbs

Yeah, I was working in Nashville yesterday when it happened, I heard some emergency vehicles drive by in the morning, likely headed to the school. Horrible stuff, indeed. On a lighter note, I look forward to more Bond videos. I had to stop watching the M:I videos after Ghost Protocol because I haven’t seen the last two.

Paul

Crimson Tide is deffo worth the watch. And ... where ever you decide to go on your trip, there will be sunshine, since you will be bringing it. ☀️

ArsTropica

I’ve got one more Play, around the time that she watches Licence to Kill. Then I’m done trying to “help” with Bond. I can’t keep banging my head against a wall. It does kinda hurt.

Larry Darrell

Such an incredible science fiction cosmic horror film. Love that one. It's too bad it was so poorly marketed when it was first released and dumped on Netflix for most the world immediately. It's a shame.

Myles Away

I refuse to cry over gun violence. Roughly 19k kids are victims of firearms each year vs 800k via abortion. Murder is murder. Period.

William Bryan

Lets cross our fingers that more than just us realize The World is Not Enough is better than Tomorrow Never Dies.

Variable38

I wish Annihilation won because it’s incredible but a lot of people unfortunately have not seen it to vote for it.

Robbie

Unfortunately, it sounds like she's planning to do all the Craig movies right after Brosnan and then maybe at some point in the future go back and revisit some of the ones she skipped. I agree that it's not the best way to do it, but at this point I will take whatever I can get. I'm a little disappointed she's only doing two Brosnan films, but maybe I'll get lucky and the two winners will be GE and TWINE, which were the only two I wanted her to watch anyway.

Stick Figure Studios

I agree before moving on to Craig.

Larry Darrell

There are certainly a lot of what ifs in the Bond series. Allegedly, Dalton has been approached after Diamond Are Forever to replace Connery but felt too young for the role then. Also, he was approached again when Moore was considering stepping down after Moonraker, starting to feel too old. But he eventually signed on for 3 more movies. Not to mention Moore was a contender as Connery's replacement back in 1966 for OHMSS.

Gábor Árki

i agree 💯 percent. He said it all the much better than I did. Thanks for giving us something to think about.

David Freese

She’s watching all of them in succession, before going back… or maybe not before going back. But, definitely all without jumping back to other Bonds in between…. I think, I’m finding out lately I don’t know anything. ;-)

Larry Darrell

Thanks for all that you do for your Patrons, viewers, and community! Remember to take time for yourself and relax. We'll still be here! 😊 Also, you should definitely watch the runner-up, Crimson Tide. One of my favorite Denzel Washington movies!

Nismo

Thank you for focusing on these real world issues that can't help but affect all of us, especially you as a Mom. The real world will have to affect us all in this oasis from time to time. We all need to think what are right actions to take to make a better world. I'm also looking forward to The Departed, but realize you have wanted to get War Movie Wednesday up and going for a long time. I think if the polls are real close you could watch the runner up the next month, otherwise you could serve up a fresh poll every month. We know that our favorites will show back up in a poll down the line for a fresh chance. Glad you are sticking to two Brosnans and plan to revisit some missed Bonds down the line. That would mean the two runners up for the polls we have already had, and would mean a watch of Dr. No and For You Eyes Only. That is a fantastic plan to react to some great Bond movies not yet seen and are desired by many. And I hope you do that before you react to all the Craig movies. Best to watch all the Craig movies last to finish Bond off, heh heh.

Mike LL

Sheena (1984) was PG. You can’t go by the ratings in the 80s.

Larry Darrell

Pierce Brosnan was actually Offered the role of James Bond before the production of The Living Daylights in mid-1986. After Remington Steele had been cancelled by NBC after the 4th Season. NBC was having doubts and before they lost their Star, they reversed their decision, very shortly before production of the film began. All that was made of the 5th and Final Season was 6 Made-For-TV movies. That aired in January & February of 1987. NBC and Remington Steele did keep Brosnan from being James Bond in 1987. This also kept Stephanie Zimbalist from having Nancy Allen’s role in Robocop.

Larry Darrell

I seriously thought you were making a “Sneeze” joke. I’m an idiot.

Larry Darrell

Absolutely, I would love that too. I would love to see Cassie and Carly rewatch “V for Vendetta”. (I definitely think that anyone would have a greater appreciation for the Watchoski’s “after” seeing The Matrix.)

Uncle Phoenix

Happy you are doing both Timothy Dalton's Bond movies. They are different from each other, so that's great.

Richard Bourne

I personally wish I could have enjoyed Cassie's MCU journey with her. I would enjoy a rewatch with her, for at the very least the four movies the Russo brothers directed, if not the entire first 3 phases. Maybe a poll with different MCU movies from different phases.

Richard Maurer

perfect response, thank you for saying that ❤️❤️

Cassie

I would love to see Cassie's reaction to that the movie, even though some of the scenes might be a little more uhhhhh, "intense" than she would like. Overall though I think she would enjoy it.

Richard Maurer

Cassie, I wish there was a way that you could reuse some of your old reactions. Maybe when you are on vacation, you could have Carly react to a previous series and then have the two reactions edited together and release the new version as a bonus for Poppers. (with teasers on Youtube, of course ;-)

Uncle Phoenix

I definitely think that’s the right call about the Bond movies. It will allow you to go back and we can do this all over again. The only tricky part is the Daniel Craig movies, since those need to be in order. I guess you could just do the first two (Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace) and then pick up where you left off, when you revisit Bond.

Mr Trick

Cassie, how can someone as caring as you not be affected by these horrible shootings. You are right, this should not be about politics, but about the safety of our children. Unfortunately, politics are inevitable in these situations as the politicians make the laws. It is a vicious circle with the deaths of many in the center. It is heartbreaking. I am very much looking forward to your reaction to Good Morning Vietnam. An excellent film! Hang in there!

Kat Farlowe

Too late, she already watched it. And yes, you could have made a fortune.

Richard Maurer

❤️❤️❤️

Neil Varma

I also disagree with the original comment. I think Dalton was a terrific Bond. He's actually my personal favorite. Besides being a legit fine actor (classically trained in stage, Shakespeare, et... arguably the best actor to ever portray Bond) he brought a seriousness and grittiness to Bond that had never really been seen before. He had a tough, darker edge that had been missing since Connor played the role, but with a humanity and vulnerability visible in Lazenby's portrayal. He was essentially the proto-Craig, doing what Daniel Craig did long before he did it. The problem is that Dalton was ahead of the curve. People still wanted the light-hearted fantasy and that's why Brosnan took it in a slightly lighter, more goofy direction (not as much as Roger Moore, much closer on the spectrum to him than Connery). It's ironic that Dalton was criticized for doing the very thing that Craig is now praised for, but fortunately that perception is starting to change as more and more people are coming to appreciate Dalton's (at the time) fresh and provocative contribution.

Stick Figure Studios

As far as WMW goes Cassie, I think you should do whatever is easiest for you. You do enough for us already, don't go to any more trouble.

Richard Maurer

Actually if it weren't for Remington Steel he wouldn't have been Bond at all. his role on the popular series is what convinced them to hire him as Bond in the first place. And count me as one who prefers Dalton, but I don't think Brosnan was bad either.

Richard Maurer

We're here for you as best as we can! What ever you want is fine!!!

Randolph Tirazona

Oh, I forgot to add. I really hope you watch the War poll’s runner up, Crimson Tide, at some point. In addition to starring Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman, it’s got your boy “Aragorn” in it. Just saying. 😉

Robert da Spruce

Has done some great v series, penny dreadful and doom patrol. Honestly rate dalton above Moore

rakesh

whats incorrect, my opinion?

zynjams

INCORRECT.

rakesh

It is your channel, Cassie. You use it as you deem necessary. If it helps you to try and make sense of twisted events, then by all means, you do it. By the way, I got the Popfather t shirt yesterday. I wore The Squad of the ring, the other week and had one person say they loved the shirt. I should have asked if they knew the story behind it, but didn’t.

Brian McGovern

For WMW I think if you have 2 that are fairly close in a poll there’s no issue watching the runner up the following month. If there is a runaway winner do a new poll next time. I’m also pleased you are considering going back to some of the Bond films you’ve missed. Watching the 3rd placed movie in each of the polls wouldn’t be a bad idea. I also suspect the Dalton and Brosnan movies, made in the late 80s and 90s, will start to feel more familiar to you and you’ll both enjoy them.

James UK

Any chance of getting Everything Everywhere All At Once viewing? I think it would be a fun reaction video. ❤️

TheYo Show

If it wasn’t for Remington Steel Bronson would have been James Bond earlier than he was

zynjams

I agree with you Michael! However you thought Bond should be portrayed….Brosnan I thought was a good mix of the bunch. Dalton was way too stale for my liking. If it weren’t for Lazenby….Dalton would be my least favorite. Although I’ve loved him in other roles! He’s fantastic in Penny Dreadful!

Krusty “Topher”

Agreed 💯👍

David Freese

I can't speak for anyone but myself but I hope you always share how you're feeling and if you feel compelled to say something that you tell us. If I didn't feel connected to you through this journey I don't think it would be half the reprieve, comfort, sanctuary that it is and I doubt I am the only one to feel that way. So just keep being you, and know you're not alone in the way you feel about stuff going on in the world around us all. Thank you for all of it.

Andrew Rose

Just waiting on "The Searchers". :) But will stick around and watch what you got

Bill Maurer

Timothy Dalton was "Daniel Craig's" version of Bond before Craig got the role

Bill Maurer

Don’t feel you need to be happy and upbeat all the time Cassie. Especially when something like this happens. We all choose to spend a little bit out of our day with you Cassie. Not just the happy, everything’s peachy, you. But the whole you. Whether you’re in a great mood. Or you’re feeling a little melancholy. And hopefully, spending a little time with us, reading the comments, etc…will bring a little joy and respite from the what’s going in the world. That’s what this PIB community is about, isn’t it? 😀

Robert da Spruce

Regarding War Movie Wednesday, I guess it depends. If you're planning to put together a new poll for the next month, I'm in favor of watching only the winner. Also, I think it could be beneficial to set a theme for these polls, like WW2 movies, Vietnam war movies, Veteran movies, classic (pre '70s) war movies, navy/submarine movies, etc. But if the plan is to put the same movies onto the next poll, just replacing the winner with another entry, I guess it would make sense to watch the runner-up as well.

Gábor Árki

I was wondering about that too.

Tim Raths

I read all the books recently and I picture Dalton and Connery when I was reading them so that makes sense

James1035

Couldn't disagree more [with the original comment, not other replies]. I prefer Timothy Dalton's grittier portrayal to Pierce Brosnan's less serious persona. To me, the contrast is strangely analogous to Sean Connery versus Roger Moore in the earlier decades. Of course, Daniel Craig blew them all away! (And, for completeness, I liked George Lazenby too!)

Phil Stubblefield

Beautiful put. You have a good way with words. I really hope you watch the runner up (Crimson tide).

Björn Von Knorring

I hope you have fully recovered from your neck injury Cassie

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

I'm not too keen on Dalton's first Bond film, The Living Daylights (1987), but I really rate him high on his second Bond film, Licence to Kill (1989). He gives a very intense, tough portrayal of James Bond on the latter film and I actually prefer him over Daniel Craig

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

Compared to Moore movies, yes. But even Licence to Kill is PG-13 and The Living Daylights is PG.

Gábor Árki

You're right, just the best way possible. I saw it over the weekend and am already planning my next viewing.

Morgan A. Colbert

Have you seen 4 yet? Those movies just get crazier in the best way possible!

Tbag917

I have a 15 year old and I worry everyday. Prayer helps me, personally, Cassie. It’s not for everyone and I respect that. But it’s how I get through every day, not just the bad ones. Sometimes I have to bring in my Yoda (my mother) and we do it together, hard. I can’t move rocks or raise X-Wings out of the swamp, but sometimes I think we get close! and it brings some inner peace and renewed purpose for the day. I have to watch Timothy Dalton’s James Bond. He is the only Bond I know nothing about. Zero, Zilch and I don’t know where he ranks among the others. Looking forward to it!

Ike

Just waiting on THE DEPARTED

nick bell

One last thing. I think you should do the top 2 of each war poll and make a new one every 2 months.

David Freese

Just read all your comment and I feel the same as you we need a way to protect kids. Even in our polarizing world we should all agree that children should be safe and our top priority. I'll pray 🙏 as well and keep my mind on everyone and hopefully we can find solutions. Thanks for everything and enjoy your spring vacation. It will get warmer soon I promise 😂. Hopefully this community will stay positive cause one group of positive thinking people can improve alot of people.

David Freese

I'd love to see you someday in the future (maybe a year from now) watch a compilation of all the Bond movie opening credits/themes and pick your favorites. There are a few stinkers but most of the songs are great, and the visuals in the credits get better as technology progresses. For any other Bond fans that are interested, here's the rejected theme for SPECTRE that Radiohead submitted. I think it's miles better than the one by Sam Smith they went with instead. https://youtu.be/CLiDemXYSLc

Jesus F Christ

I think this is one of the funnest lineups in PIB I like all the programs and think Cassie is going to give us some wonderful reactions. P. S. I do have more responses in the replies about the wonderful op ed that Cassie wrote about the unfortunate events this last few days. I didn't read it till I made a comment about the reactions. I hope and pray that these school shootings stop.

David Freese

Yeah yesterday was a rough day and today is hardly better. I'm about to go to work so I don't have time for an in depth response. I just wanna thank you for addressing what happened. Yes this is not a place for political debate and its supposed to be a reprieve but I don't think we can just keep our heads in the sand as these things keep happening. They must be acknowledged at the very least. Edit: The amount of people condoning this event (not here) is alarming. Things are going to get so much worse before they get better.

My_Cousin_Mose

Of course it's perfectly fine to acknowledge something when you feel the need to. I totally get that. I would advise it to do it in temporary stuff like instagram stories or updates like this. Not so much in intro's to movies as they can be viewed years down the line and then it would be out of place. Lookig forward to GMV!

Pickupthepieces76

John Wick 3 is my favorite of the JW movies. Dear Dear Dear Keanu how I love thee.

Morgan A. Colbert

Dalton is a very different kettle of fish to Roger - he studied the Bond novels and went down the route of the tough ruthless intense Bond we see in the books. I love the Dalton Bond films but they're fairly violent especially License to Kill.

John Drake

What a beautiful letter. Thanks for all you do.

Robert Jewell

Pierce Bronsen was a great James Bond. Timothy Dalton not to much

zynjams

If you haven’t done “Platoon” yet. It’s an amazing war movie by Oliver Stone. Way better than Full Metal Jacket and all of the others in my opinion.

Jonny Kerr (JK)

Hachi? Excuse me while I call my broker and tell him to invest big on Kleenex. 😭
