2023-02-01 14:41:53 +0000 UTCIn Ep 5 when Rust is talking about 4th dimensional beings, what he is talking about is essentially, if you were to try and describe to a stick figure on a piece of paper what a sphere is. Its hard to percieve things outside our dimensions that we know (length, width height). If a fourth dimensional person were to explain what the 4th dimension (time) looks like to them, then time would just look like, "A flat circle" to us, just like a 2-D picture can only see a slice of the 3-D sphere at a time.

So when she used him to get back at Marty, he felt betrayed. Not to mention self-loathing at his own betrayal of Marty. Which explains how angry he is when she tells him the truth.
