The seeing stones are crystal balls - and are called palantiri and are originally from Numenor - and only 7 were brought. Sauron got hold of at least one (from Minas Ithil which became Minas Morgul) There were 3 in the northern kingdom and 3 in the southern kingdom and one looked towards Numenor only. The palantiri are how Sauron corrupted both Saruman (stone of Isengard) and Denethor (stone of Minas Tirith),... He was stronger than both so only let them see what he wanted them to see,... Denethor saw things that made him despair, and Saruman sought power,... and Sauron teased and manipulated him with it. This was explained or hinted at in the books.

MIthrandir was the Elvish name for Gandalf, but the dwarves also had a name, and remember there are actually 3 separate Elvish languages and multiple mens languages,... and Gandalf is actually thousands of years old, as are the other Istari/wizards. They are not men although they look like it. They were sent by the Valar and there were only 5 of them - one is not mentioned by name at all in the books.

When people spoke of the Argonath being built (the twin kings before the falls of Rauros), they built giant miniatures of those as well as Isengard, Minas Tirith, and Baradur. Minas Tirth was built into 2 miniature models 1/72 and 1/14th scale. About 1000 houses were built into the city and it was 7 meters tall (@ 21 feet). Smeagol and Deagol were related but were also best friends according to the books.
