Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

Hey crackerjacks!

Ok World Series week, Like I said I will be cheering for the Phillies because... Rocky! I thought it would be fun to watch another baseball flick! Last year in our baseball poll "Major League" won which was so much fun, can't wait to see what wins this year, I would be happy with ANY of these!

I do vote though, can you guess my vote?

Comments

Crash Davis would make her love Costner even more than she already does.

Rodger Johnson

God I could watch the Sandlot over and over! And thanks Steve! I'm going to check that out for sure! <3

Joseph M Sica

Did Cassie already watch Pride of the Yankees or The Rookie?

Joseph Rardin

These two movies are so different, my suggestion is in baseball fashion, a double header.

Tonio

Bull Durhams falling behind of the formulaic The Natural…. That’s no good. Bull Durham needs to announce It’s presence with authority! (Fans of the film get it)

Jeff Milcheck

Yeah, you really can. It's pretty easy in fact

Sean Novack

You will love “Bull Durham.” Not on here but “61” is also a great baseball movie that you would appreciate for the overall history and personal stories.

Mark Daniels

This has been a paid advertisement by the "For the Love of the Game" action committee, views expressed are the sole property of the writer.

resinmonkey .

This is a very, very good movie reaction community. Most of the time the suggestions and poll outcomes work in our collective favor even when you might not completely agree with the choices because Cassie is SO DAMN amazing at giving 100% of her emotional sensibilities and sensible opinions and insights in the best possible light. And I have absolutely NO DOUBT that whether it's 'Bull Durham' or 'The Natural' or even 'Bad News Bears' (all equally GREAT movies along with 42, which is just as great, if not better)... BUT... if the community would just CONSIDER CASSIE as much when selecting these, and make a determination of which story Cassie would prefer to experience in more cases it might make for a better outcome. To that end, WHO AMONG US DOESN'T BELIEVE Cassie would most appreciate the love story in; 'For The Love of the Game,' more than the others?

Terry Yelmene

The Rookie with Dennis Quaid is another good baseball flick

Odd Thomas

Wonderboy is a stad-in for Excalibur. The team is called the Knights. On the DVD special features there's a whole section on this called "Knights in Shining Armor: The Mythology of The Natural."

Philip Davetas

Fantasy has the ability to elevate the mundane to give it a higher meaning that no account of the day to day reality of a subject will ever match. This is why I will remember The Natural for the rest of my life but have all but forgotten Bull Durham. If I wanted to see the reality of baseball I would be watching documentaries not fictional dramas. I get that some people prefer drama to the fantastic, but I am not, nor will I ever be, one of those people.

Richard Maurer

For Love of the Game would probably be the one that she would love the most out of all of these, but it's definitely not going to be as popular with most.

Kevin C

Actually, the hotel incident is based on something that happened to former Phillie first baseman Eddie Waitkus in 1949. So, uh, even that's not so farfetched.

VivendoBem

Seconded (or, I guess, thirded).

VivendoBem

I love the Natural, but how is it an allegory for king Arthur? I've never heard that before and I can't see the similarity.

Al Swearengen

I get Bull Durham and The Natural are definite classics and must be seen but really thought "For Love of the Game" would do better here.

Kevin Kuma

While I voted and spoke out for Bull Durham, let's not forget that the current last-place vote-getter Trouble With The Curve is a wonderful movie as well, baseball themed but as much or more a family drama and love story rolled in. And the ending of the movie is very, very satisfying!

Paul Mellette

I'm a HUGE baseball fan and the Natural is the best baseball movie ever made. It doesn't matter if it's a fiction. It just encapsulates the beauty of baseball. And it's just a great movie overall. Great story. Great acting.

Al Swearengen

Ooh. THE SANDLOT. Good call.

Philip Davetas

Joseph, you're in luck with Field Of Dreams. Popcorn In Bed already reacted to it early this year. And Cassie has mentioned she has seen the great film The Sandlot prior to starting the channel.

Steve Holton

Wait a second Wait a second Wait a second!!!! ok that was like a second. Your telling me Field Of Dreams and the Sandlot isn't included in this list?!?!?!? /Shoots self in head. Welp I voted for the Natural since it's going to win But Bad News Bears is really a classic to. The other three movies are good to. O yeah and Major League is great too! I remember seeing it in Theaters and my Uncle and Aunt took me and we went though the McDonalds drive through and my uncle got mad at me b/c I was like "No Pickles, Extra Bacon, Extra Lettuce, No onions" and he was like OMFG just order a damn burger already! Kekekek <3

Joseph M Sica

I have to say, THE NATURAL is an amazing movie. Very superhero-ish. It's an allegory for King Arthur and the Knights of the Round table. I love the Director's Cut, but the theatrical cut kind of hits the beats much quicker. "And then? And then when I walked down the street people would've looked and they would've said there goes Roy Hobbs, the best there ever was in this game."

Philip Davetas

@Brian Jones I can't help but think that's why baseball fans and even just sports fans in general aren't as enamored with "The Natural." I've seen lots of people declare they're not sports fans, but love "The Natural" whereas I'm seeing the opposite from people who ARE sports/baseball fans. The Natural, to me, an avid baseball fan, was not good perhaps because it was so unbelievable. I loved A League of Their Own, though, and think it's a far superior film to "The Natural."

Art of Free Speech

And the fact yet another non-baseball fan/non-sports fan thinks the Natural is that good cements my belief there's something about the movie which appeals to non-fans that fans just don't care for.

Art of Free Speech

I admit, Trouble with the curve is a pretty bad movie, but I still like it for some reason. Maybe because it's Clint, Amy Adams and baseball. I also like the anti money ball message.

Al Swearengen

What does fantasy fluff mean? Because it's a fictitious story? Everything that happened on the field in that movie has happened at least once in real life so it's all plausible. Without giving anything away, I guess you could say the hotel incident in the beginning is farfetched, but it is a drama.

Al Swearengen

It looks like For the Love of the Game is going to lose, but Cassie, you should watch it someday. It'll likely be one of your favorite Kevin Costner films. We know you love chick-flicks!

Rodger Johnson

@Stick Figure Studios - It's the difference between being in love with a fantasy movie, or loving a realistic baseball movie. The Natural is just fantasy fluff, Bull Durham is a movie that depicts the reality of the game.

Brian Jones

Also a better and more realistic depiction of Baseball than The Natural. While The Natural is a great flick, it's just fantasy fluff.

Brian Jones

Nonsense...... While both are good movies, in regards to ACTUAL baseball and the lives of the players, The Natural is fictitious fantasy, where Bull Durham is reality. Bull Durham is a depiction of actual lived experiences. There isn't a player alive, especially one that came up through the minor leagues, that couldn't relate to what's depicted in Bull Durham, and they would and have said as much.🙄

Brian Jones

Brian's Song is football, isn't it?

resinmonkey .

And Theresa Wright who will also star in "The Best Years of our Lives" coming up for Cassie to watch.

James

Unless you’ve already seen it I’m surprised A League of their Own wasn’t on the list as it’s a film I know you would love.

Dean Holt

He's the best there ever was.

Stick Figure Studios

Shoot. I forgot that this is yet another film with multiple versions. Yes, definitely the theatrical cut.

Stick Figure Studios

Not on the list, but one of the best baseball movies is The Pride of the Yankees with Gary Cooper as Lou Gehrig.

hfwilliams

You will fall in love with The Natural. Watch the theatre version, not the directors cut.

resinmonkey .

Bull Durham because Cassie is a Costner fan. And sis should watch along!

Stephanie Mills

I voted for The Natural. I think you'll really enjoy seeing Robert Redford as Roy Hobbs.

David C. Krapf

Um, why isn't 'Major League II' on this list? You can't watch the first one and not watch the second one. LOL

DesertSwordsman

Could be, but there are also lots of "actual baseball fans" and/or sports fans who love it, so I don't know. Maybe how big a baseball/sports fan one is doesn't really have anything to do with it and it's more about just the storytelling/filmmaking itself that appeals to some and not others.

Stick Figure Studios

👉 Damn Yankees! 👈 But I voted for The Bad News Bears (1976) because it was a childhood favorite. Besides, you might enjoy Tanner Boyle.

Vincent

I don't see it. I watched it once and was vastly underwhelmed and have no desire to see it ever again, and I'm a baseball junkie! Perhaps there's something about it that actual baseball fans don't like that non-sports fans do like.

Art of Free Speech

To this day, Gary Cohen, the Mets TV Play by play guy, will occasionally pull out a "he pulled a Kelly Leak!" when a CFer runs over and catches a ball more easily caught by the LFer or RFer. Such a classic film!

Art of Free Speech

The Natural is a great movie, but I gave my vote to Bull Durham, it's really funny and we already know Cassie is a Costner fan.

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

She has a reaction to Major League, and it's good, no surprise there. I saw a stage production of Damn Yankees when I was about 10. Might even have had Ray Walston in the role. Been a fan ever since.

Mingo Wayama

I think you left out two good movies Major league and A. League lof their own excellent baseball movies Pride of the Yankees and Damn Yankees should also be considered sometime in the future

Doc Larry

Funny thing is I'm not really a fan of baseball, but there sure have been some damn fine movies made about it. And The Natural is the best of those.

Richard Maurer

I can think of half a dozen memorable scenes off the the top of my head.

Richard Maurer

"Pick me out a winner, Bobby."

Stick Figure Studios

One memorable scene? When was the last time you watched THE NATURAL? Maybe due for a rewatch.

Stick Figure Studios

That's interesting, Melinda, because I'm exactly the opposite. I saw a BULL DURHAM once and thought it was fine, but I've really no desire to watch it again whereas I have seen THE NATURAL literally dozens of times.

Stick Figure Studios

Though there are a few declarations of regard for BAD NEWS BEARS, FOR LOVE OF THE GAME and 42 sprinkled throughout the comments section, as near as I can tell there's basically two kinds of people voting in this poll: THE NATURAL people and BULL DURHAM people (I wonder if you couldn't say the same about baseball movie lovers in general). Personally, I'm definitely one of the NATURAL people.

Stick Figure Studios

So do THE NATURAL and FOR LOVE OF THE GAME.

Stick Figure Studios

Or vice-versa.

Stick Figure Studios

An admirable attempt, Cole. I salute you. :)

Stick Figure Studios

She will love it. I am certain of that.

Stick Figure Studios

I just saw that recently for the first time. Very good.

Stick Figure Studios

I went with THE NATURAL. It's my favorite sports movie of all time.

Stick Figure Studios

Well, it's certainly the sexiest. I'll give you that.

Stick Figure Studios

I really liked FOR LOVE OF THE GAME (actually more than both BULL DURHAM and MAJOR LEAGUE). A very different sort of film from Sam Raimi. I'm sure Cassie will like it too. Got to do THE NATURAL first though.

Stick Figure Studios

I agree that Bull Durham would be the best fit for Cassie

Doug Cook

Hey, why not? It's the best sports movie ever made! :-)

Stick Figure Studios

Have no fear. It is winning.

Stick Figure Studios

I said what I said.

Stick Figure Studios

This guy gets it.

Stick Figure Studios

Anybody who is somebody likes THE NATURAL.

Stick Figure Studios

Bull Durham! Definitely one for Cassie!

Juley

Other than Trouble with the Curve, you can't go wrong with any of those. For Love of the Game is super cheesy but she'll love it. Also, you don't have to like baseball to enjoy any of those. Well, except Trouble with the Curve. Not a very good movie.

Mitchell

Lol, I haven’t thought about Bad News Bears in several decades. This would be hilarious to see again.

Roger Banks

Yes, before she started the channel

Mitchell

She's seen that already.

Mitchell

Oh my God, she would love Hoosiers. It's amazing.

Mitchell

Kinda corny but she would love it

Mitchell

David H

young Tatum O’Neal

Larry Darrell

For the Love of the Game is very underrated. But I will be happy with The Natural.

John Cranberry

I'm with you, Jeff. I watched The Natural once, and never felt the urge to see it again. But I've watched Bull Durham more times than I can count. I love Susan Sarandon's character. Love Kevin Costner's character and his love of the game. Love their romance. Love the whole team. And Tim Robbins is hilarious in every scene.

Melinda

Bull Durham all the way... great story and probably the most realistic depiction of minor-league baseball ever put on film!

Paul Mellette

Bull Durham and The Bad News Bears are both so great, they almost make me like baseball! The Natural has one memorable scene, but, aside from that, it's just OK, in my opinion.

sarCC

Bull Durhams gotta win this time. Best baseball movie, hands down…. The Natural was a little too overly sentimental for my taste

Jeff Milcheck

I've never seen The Natural so I voted for it. But I think the one that Cassie will like the most is For the Love of the Game.

Caomhan84

The two you will like the best are For the Love of the Game and The Natural. Bull Durham is funny and so is The Bad News Bears with a young Jodie Foster. You can't go wrong with any of your options. However, for a love story, For the Love of the Game is probably best.

Roger Wayne Alms

Not sure how well Teen Wolf holds up now it must have been 20 years since I’ve seen it lol. Might give it a rewatch over the weekend

Dean Holt

Bull Durham is very funny, it's a solid base hit for 3rd. For The Love Of The Game is an underrated baseball classic! It's a quiet home run for 2nd. In first, with a no-doubt shot over the fence to clear the bases is The Natural in 1st place.

Sean Novack

Hoosiers

Brent Petty

Add Rebound (1996) to that list. Maybe Teen Wolf can be for Carly next October.

Mike Lemon

Yeah, I know=(.

Bill W

Sold Lady Kenmores. Nasty. Nasty work.

Bill W

Great film, but looking at these numbers, sadly, it wouldn't have stood a chance.

Bill W

I don't understand how it's losing....AGAIN!!

Bill W

If she wants to do another sports poll she should pick golf and have us vote for some golf movies and I think Tin Cup should be the winner!

Jacob Colson

The Natural is a classic!

David Poray

42, Since Wakanda Forever is making its debut. It only makes sense

Shawn Kildal

I know right? 🤢

mikethemotormouth

Bull Durham has a love story. Just sayin'.

Togre

Apparently you haven't looked at the poll results.

Richard Maurer

Bull Durham is losing a 2nd poll? I don't know what to believe in anymore.

Bill W

You already love Kevin Costner and you will love Bull Durham! Has Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins Great movie!

Mike Ortiz

Like...95% certain she has Joseph, unfortunately

mikethemotormouth

Has she not already seen that? 🤔

mikethemotormouth

The Natural is a great movie and all, but Bull Durham is THE quintessential baseball movie. It's about as real as it gets. But Cassie, just so you know, BOTH are required viewing eventually. :)

Brian Jones

Nobody likes the natural. Bad News Bears should be your pick.

Michael

So I had to look this up…. You’re right about Mariano pitching until 43, which was his retirement age. Roger Clemens pitched until he was 45. So the early to mid 40s looks like the end of one’s baseball career…. Not exactly old, but not young either. As an actor KK still looked good in his 40s but most people think they’re prime good looks are in their 30s or earlier.

N M

Cassie hasn’t watch the Sandlot has she? That’s a good “baseball movie”.

Joseph

Yes Mike, That's it. Thanks!

Jason Fulbright

Pretty bummed A League of Their Own isn’t on here.

Foggy

Yes, this is most definitely a film Cassie will love. And it stars one of her favorites - Kevin Costner

Rich Roddman

Have to admit not heard of half of these lol. Even though it won’t win I vote for 42 as it’s such an amazing and underrated movie. Also in the future would love to see you react to a few basketball films as there is some amazing ones like White Men can’t Jump, Coach Carter, Above the Rim, He Got Game and Teen Wolf lol.

Dean Holt

bull durham is the one to see, and after that, the natural

diego kontarovsky

Million Dollar Arm (2014)

Mike LL

The Natural is the best baseball movie ever, even better than Field of Dreams. My second choice would be 42. I saw Bull Durham once, remember liking it, but hardly remember anything from it now. Meanwhile, I've seen The Natural multiple times and remember the whole movie, so I can't believe BD is even close in the voting.

Richard Maurer

I guess you didn't watch Slap Shot. :)

TT

Candlesticks!

Jennifer Medicus

Not the real sex symbol, Walter?

TT

So Kevin Costner was 32 when he filmed Bull Durham and 43 with For the Love of the Game. So 32 is young, but not 43? There have certainly been ML pitchers of recent vintage who pitched at 43... Bartolo Colon, Mariano Rivera, Jamie Moyer (49yo!), Tim Wakefield, Kenny Rogers, Jesse Orosco, Doug Jones... that's just since 2000. We'll see if Cassie reveals her choice. :)

TT

Unfortunately, the Golden Age of Hollywood is unrepresented. You might want to consider: The Pride of the Yankees (1942), The Pride of St Louis (1952) and on a lighter note: Angels in the Outfield (1951) don't bother with the remake, or It Happens Every Sprin (1949).

Ted Little

This will probably be my favorite poll ever. I'd love for you to watch any of these. I'm a HUGE baseball fan! Please invite Carly! Pretty please!!!!!

TT

I voted for Bull Durham because it will be great reaction, but my favorite of these is The Bad News Bears.

Dan Waller

The Natural and Bull Durham are great but I'm going with "For The Love Of The Game". Doesn't look like it'll win which is OK but I liked the ups and downs of the story I suppose.

Rob in PA

I so hope Bull Durham wins!!! The way she reacted to Major League. It’s so funny.

Brian Landers

The Natural???? Ugh... I can't decide between Bull Durham or the original Bad News Bears. Really people? The Natural... ugh. Just ugh.

Art of Free Speech

"There goes Roy Hobbs! The best there ever was!" 😄😉

Zane From Canada

Sorry to see For the Love of the Game only has 6%. It is perfect movie for you and your sister. Keven Costner, good love story and great baseball movie. Hope you voted for it.

Tarheel72

Choose the natural, you pagans! 😝

Alex Villarreal

My guess is you voted The Natural because you went to that Robert Redford restaurant in Sundance not too long ago

Ginko

I was surprised it wasn’t more popular but it’s up against some heavy hitters (pun intended). really great movie.

S

There’s one movie with a young Kevin Costner - so obviously that’s your choice. A little more challenge next time please ; )

N M

I have said it before and I will say it again: I'm not a big sports person and never have been, but I can enjoy/appreciate a good sports movie and THE NATURAL is not only the best baseball movie ever made, it is the best sports movie ever made. Period. That film is magic. Pure magic. Like FIELD OF DREAMS, it's just mythic. I know you will love it and it has my vote.

Stick Figure Studios

The Natural by a country mile

Odd Thomas

Watch’em all I sez

Andrew Hogan

Sound logic😀

Krusty “Topher”

Cassie, did you vote for 42? Cause I did lol.

Andrew DeCorse

I think you would really enjoy Bull Durham. It’s got Kevin Costner in it and it’s got everything you like in a movie.

James1035

Bull Durham is one of my FAVORITE movies!!

Peggy Zehr

Cassie, I think you'd love Bull Durham, because it's really more of a ❤️ romance ❤️ than a sports movie.

Michael T

This is difficult!

Robin Craft

My guess is that you voted for The Natural -- how could you not? My vote is Trouble With the Curve -- and I guarantee you will like it. But, it should be the follow-up to something emotionally painful. It'll soothe your frayed nerves.

Bruce C Snell

I have never been more torn in one of these polls.

Ben Livingstone

Since no one else is, I'm going to give some love to TROUBLE, good Clint Edgewood movie and who can't love Amy Adams in this one. I will say I always think of this more like "a finding a diamond in the rough" story like the one where they find the player in India but I can't remember the name of it right now.

Jason Fulbright

Going with the Bull and Kevin Costner. Bad News Bears is also fantastic

Bill Maurer

This is a great poll! Not a bad movie in the bunch! I think Cassie and Carly for that matter would love "For the Love of the Game" and "Bull Durham" for obvious reasons but every one of these is fantastic for different reasons. This is gonna be tough.

Robin Craft

Although it’s absolute that Tin Cup is 1000x better Kevin Costner movie than Bull Durham…..I voted for it just for you!😀

Krusty “Topher”

I’m going to try to get in your head for a second😉. You are kind of torn between Costner’s 2 movies, and Redfords as well, but to make it easier on yourself you’re voting Bad News Bears because you think kids are “so stinkin cute” in their little uniforms.

Cole Jennett

Between Redford & Costner I'm guessing it was a coin toss,I say you voted for The Natural⚾I just voted for Trouble with the Curve, more "Clint Edgewood".

Celeste McAllister

There are a few that she has already seen, but never mentioned in the intro. The Rookie was one of them.

Cole Jennett

I think you voted for Bull Durham.....

Kat Farlowe

I'm going to guess that Robert Redford got your vote over Kevin Costner, but not by much.

Bill Hayden

The most realistic is 42. But just like grand Torino you’re going to have to watch out for the language. The natural is another good movie.

Mary Alice

Not on this list, but if there will be more baseball movies for the World Series, I second Clifford’s suggestion of “The Rookie” with Dennis Quaid. It’s available on Disney+.

B

Aw, man. I thought you were actually going to be watching “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”!

Bob Bittner

"Lolly-gaggers!"

Daniel

The BAD NEWS BEARS is probably my favorite sports movie of all time

nick bell

For the Love of the Game is such an underrated delight!

David Crabtree

Every time I see Robert Redford these days I immediately think "I can't believe the studio wanted him to play Rocky"

KG

While I think The Bad News Bears is the best sports movie ever, I also think The Natural will be more to your liking.

Brian Lowery

This is an option for February if it doesn’t do well here at least.

Cole Jennett

Many great movies but it has to be The Natural. Otherwise it would need to be Field of Dreams, but you've already watched that.

Timothy Williams

Bad News Bears 🎤👇

Todzilla

42. Chadwick Boseman is amazing. And Jackie Robinson’s story will have you crying both sad AND HAPPY TEARS.

Joseph

Just a reminder (to Cassie too in the poll!) that there is no definite article in the first half of the title before the preposition. As odd as it sounds, the title actually is "For Love of the Game" and it has sounded strange to me as well all these years so the adding of the definite article is an understandable Mandela Effect!

Brian

There is no other answer but Bull Durham. Cosner/love story/most quotable

softshoes

Everyone knows For Love of The Game is exactly Cassie's type of movie. Kelly Preston has my Vote.

John L Woolfolk

Randy Newman definitely hit it out of the park on "The Natural" score.

Brian

For yourself a favor. Want to see a young James Cann from Misery and a young Billy D Williams from Star Wars. Watch Brian's Song. It's a made for TV movie but it's a true story. And one you will never forget.

Doug R

I definitely think you'd enjoy For Love Of The Game. It's Kevin Costner, baseball, and it's got a love story. I do think you should watch 42 at some point, it's a great movie with a fantastic cast. But I would suggest saving it for either Black History Month or April 15th which is Jackie Robinson Day in Major League Baseball.

Patrick Egan

Bull Durham and The Natural are the best movies here.... but I voted for "For Love of the Game" because it is sooo Cassie's type of movie. She'd love it. And it's (in my opinion) wildly underrated.

Cliff Endicott

I really enjoyed The Natural, I think you really would enjoy that one . 👍

Danny (Icarus)

I love The Natural, but I need a laugh and I love Bull Durham. Also, I want to see her reaction to the "I believe" speech.

Jennifer Medicus

I bet you voted for Bull Durham. I think I could enjoy any of the picks(even the ones I've never seen). Great list Cassie. You'll have fun with whatever wins.

David Freese

according to popcornrequests.com she has seen Moneyball.

Christopher Smith

I’m up for it Cassie! Kinda secretly pulling for bull Durham. I’ve heard great things and I think I may like it.

brooke atkins

I think she would really like For the love of the game, or the Rookie.

Clifford

Lets do it together <3

Cassie

The company I work for owns offices just up the street from the Durham Bulls old field where film took place, including "The Greatest Show On Dirt" sign warehouse. Yet, I am voting for Bad News Bears because Walter Matthau folks, come on!

Christopher Smith

haha ive seen that one, so fun!

Cassie

Money Ball is good, and based on a true story.

Matthew Hines

hahhaha you made me LOL

Cassie

Ive actually seen that one!!

Cassie

The Natural! I hate baseball and LOVE that movie! Epic score! Wa waaaaaaa wa wa wa waaaaaaa..... I think Bull Durham is good too and probably more Cassie's style.

Scott Macaulay

I made my vote but IMO you should watch them all. Also, Fever Pitch would be another good one.

Philip Herman

Eight Men Out would have been good on the poll since it would add more context to Field of Dreams, and is a great movie.

PapaXan

Damn. It's a really hard choice between Bull Durham and The Natural. Both are great movies, but for different reasons.

PapaXan

As a Braves fan I'll be rooting for Ivan Drago

Jason Dolan

I vote for "The Rookie"

Jim Williams

Bull Durham got my vote.

Tim Raths

Cassie, Kevin or Robert is the real question

Mike LL

The Natural is the best baseball movie and a wonderful love story. Thankfully they changed the ending from the books otherwise it wouldn’t have been nearly as good as it is.

Alex Gorell

Bull Durham, the Natural are classics. hope you watch both

zynjams

Whichever of these movies win.. you have got to watch For the Love of the Game. Great Kevin Costner flick!

George Stapp

I was going to comment the same! 42 this time around

Burrito Jimmy

Once again a poll with movies I’ve never seen. Don’t care for sports so never had any interest in watching any of these. My mom loves bull Durham so I’ve heard about that one before. It’ll be interesting to see what wins. I may actually watch a sports movie lol

brooke atkins

Bull Durham is so clearly the smartest, funniest and sexiest movie on this poll, it shouldn't even be a contest.

Henry Graham

I bet Cassie votes for Bull Durham.

TigerDelta

42! What with Chadwick’s passing and the Black Panther sequel coming out exactly next week, it’s great timing.

Lemuel Daher

OMG, great list! So hard to choose!?
