2022-09-21 13:18:08 +0000 UTCThor has been one of my favorites and I really have loved all the previous Thor movies, even the ones that people dont tend to like. But this one I just could not get down with. The direction they took everything just felt wrong to me. Ragnarok was a near perfect balance of humor while also keeping the essence of the character, and the weight and meaning in the story. It seems in this one they just tossed everything out the window and went full send on ONLY funny. Turned my main man into a big dumb joke and fully ruined most, if not all of the good plot points I feel they had been setting up from previous movies. Bales performance and character was exceptional but unfortunately the writing really just let him, and the whole movie down. Super disappointing
