But speaking of The Firm, I loved Cassie's and Carly's reaction to this a lot! One of my favorite reactions ever by Cassie is when Mitch was telling Abby about cheating on her. Re-watch that scene but just look at Cassie's reaction instead of watching Mitch and Abby. Cassie looks so upset and she kind of looks to the side and then puts her head down while carefully and cautiously looking up again. It's absolutely adorable how bad she feels for both of them and really doesn't want to hear it or see the reactions from Abby but she has to. That's why we all tend to say "We love how invested you get into the movie and characters you're watching". It's so true! Also, I kept laughing at how you both kept saying how creepy Tobin Bell (the firm's hitman) was. I laughed the most when Carly said "He even runs creepy", lmao! I thought the same thing. Also, and it took me awhile, but by the time I watched The Firm I had already watched The Natural and once I made the connection I realized what a wonderful actor Wilford Brimley really was. I did a Wiki search of his past movies prior to The Firm and he was just so unique as an actor in everything he did.

2022-09-14 22:02:01 +0000 UTCI'm still not sure how I feel about Born on the Fourth of July and I've seen others here either promote it or discourage against it. I've watched it 3 times so there's something about it I do like. But it always seems to leave me with a nagging feeling of uneasiness. Granted, not all movies end with "sunshines and rainbows," but for me at least, that one would be difficult for me to vote yes for. It is good in it's own way, but if we're talking another Tom Cruise movie, I'd still recommend All The Right Moves first.
