Someone told me I need to watch Dazed and Confused, but I swear Matthew M. said "Alright alright alright" in A Time to Kill too!
Ok what a week! Here is what we have coming up. Mandalorian 1&2 are watched (I think I'm hooked) and will be up tomorrow! Carly is coming over tonight....which one do I have her watch with me guys? I'm leaning towards We Were Soldiers because I don't think she would forgive me for Poltergeist. She's not as tough as me you know ;) haha JK I'm terrified!

Ok other movie things: Who has seen any great movies recently? I still need to see the new Thor and Jurassic World but theatre reactions have become more tricky. Did anyone see Grey Man? Spiderhead? Bullet train? the new Persuasion? Where the Crawdads sing?I saw a preview for Amsterdam that I thought looked good!
If you missed it on instagram, I drew a new year for August's "Noms of Oscars Past" poll and the year was 1985, I had not seen or reacted to any of that years Best Picture nominees, so we will have a full poll! That will go up at the end of this week. We also still have August Summer Blockbuster Poll:Comedy, can't wait. All Good Things, All Good Things (name that movie)

2022-08-13 00:40:55 +0000 UTCAs far as new movies, Spiderhead was pretty cool, but the best has been The Adam Project. It's a sci-fi, action, comedy, romance, coming-of-age adventure, that feels like an 80s movie. Highly recommend.
