[YT Edit] The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

Hey guys! Here is the YT edit for The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, which will be premiering soon. It's a long one at 51 minutes (probably should have done 2 parts)!! This was guest edited by Ben and he says sorry in advance for any mistakes. Also, tonight the full length reaction to Dr. Strange 2 will be up, sorry in advanced about the sound for that one, I didn't plug the mic in all the way, I hope it doesn't sound to bad.

Direct link in case the above player doesn't work.

Here is the full reaction to this movie.

Outlaw Josey Wales one of Eastwood's best Westerns!

Amazing movie--a true Western with an excellent romance! A great portrait of loneliness in the old West!

And then there's Conager Sam Elloit

Honestly this movie is crap. Cassie , Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid with Newman and Redford done before they did The Sting together. No senseless gratuitous violence. Great story and often funny. And fairly close to the true story of Butch and Sundance

One of my favorite westerns is the 2007 movie 3:10 to Yuma starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.

Andrew Roach

Lonesome Dove is authentic. Some say it brought the western back from the grave that Star Wars dug for the genre. CBS had the nerve to run this fairly graphic miniseries and put westerns back on the map. There were about 20 years where nobody made westerns and you found space Sci fi every where. There's a reference to this in the movie Argo.

I think Cassie would enjoy The Magnificent Seven of 1965

Your first spaghetti western! Cowboys eating spaghetti it is not. 😉 I'm not a huge fan of them but I do like Leone's "Once Upon a Time in the West" very much. Henry Fonda playing against type is brilliant, the music is iconic, and it has a great story. Now that you have watched an essential spaghetti western, it's time to watch THE essential American western - "The Searchers" directed by John Ford. I think it is Wayne's best role and the supporting cast is exceptional. The cinematography is beautiful. They filmed mostly in Monument Valley, Utah. Have you been there? Goulding's Lodge has a lot of memorabilia from the Ford westerns. So if you are going to watch another western, go back to the source and watch one of the best ever made by the man who defined the American western - John Ford. Then you can watch the later ones and see a lot of references to the Ford ones. Saddle up!

There's been talk recently about Tom Cruise being the "last real movie star." I finally watched Top Gun: Maverick the other day, and while Tom Cruise amazingly still has some of his boyish looks, when I squinted 🙄, I occasionally saw Clint Eastwood.

LOL loved you watching this, this was the introduction of the anti hero phase of American movies if I'm not mistaken. Clint was good only in comparison, Tuco was less bad because his life was one of poverty and desperation (not making excuses just a observation) The great Lee Van Cleef I think one of the greatest bad men of all time. A iconic movie 🎬
