Hey Kernel Club!
I hope all the moms out there had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday and got a big fat nap in. I had a great day with breakfast in bed, a clean house and car and no cooking! And how bout that Rich Strike eh?!
Here is what is coming up this week, I know some of you don't love the big blockbuster weeks so let me tell you next week on patreon will be Heat, Anatomy of a Murder and The Sting (and more Loki)!
I will also be putting up a Memorial Day Poll this week, thanks for your suggestions on my last post. I'm excited about that one, it has been a while since I have seen the war genre and they are always humbling and inspiring and a good reminder of our important history.
I was really hoping we would hit 200k subs on YT while we have 200 videos out, for the cool screenshot, but 500 away dang it! haha Even so, it is humbling and beyond exciting that I get to continue to do this with you :)
Ps-keep an eye out for next trivia night and LIVE dates :)
Love you long time,
Cassie

2022-05-15 17:02:01 +0000 UTCThe prequels wasn't a story that needed to be told- "Vader was seduced by the dark side of the Force." and our imagination was all that was needed. Instead, we got- A medical industry that can make and attach robot hands to people can't do a c-section, so Vader, who is an insufferable d-bag, went on a child murdering spree and Ben cut him to pieces and left him to die in lava. The lava also made him grow about a foot, somehow.

2022-05-15 12:20:46 +0000 UTCStar Wars 4, 5, and 6, were epic! 1, 2, and 3 were not bad for a new generation, and a needed story to tell. 7, 8, and 9? 😕,,,,,,,,, 😕? Not that horrific!!!! But not needed at all. I just feel its a shame the first 3 got pulled "and almost forgotten as the greatest SciFi (insert big word)" cause of the others. And people do kind of forget how epic they were. Especially in all the sound and wild new merchandise bags of stuff "think 3 iffy movies in that bag also." Ok just kidding on the bag, but its kind of true. And just for thought. People will make fun of my grammar and all that, thats fine (Even say its worse then Stallone's first draft of Rocky.) Or laugh I said "Shes All That" is good in a fun popcorn way. But better movie, Episode 8 or Shes All That? If honest with yourself?

2022-05-13 06:28:03 +0000 UTCI liked Jurassic World more then 2 and 3. The first was epic of course! 2 and 3 were,,,,, eh? But Jurassic World is not bad at all. Not the original, but not bad.

2022-05-13 01:08:14 +0000 UTCMeant to post these earlier, but some good prep for the last Star Wars is to catch up on Adam Driver's SNL clips as Kylo Ren on "Undercover Boss". Worth it just to see him attempt a thumbs up 😂 https://youtu.be/FaOSCASqLsE https://youtu.be/Brbrdnh74yA
