Comments

Recommend... " the outlaw Josey Wales" Clint Eastwood is a very subtle efficient director and actor;... One of the best!

Rick Sullins

Just joined and about to watch the full reaction. After reading these comments it’s sounds like she wasn’t into it. It’s a tough film to digest for sure. Especially if you’re not into westerns….. the brilliance of this film is the morality when it comes to the gun play. Most westerns, the bullets are flying and no one thinks twice. This one seriously examines the consequences of pulling the trigger. And what it does to a man. Even if he was justified in doing it.

Jeff Milcheck

Cassie you said in your reaction that you wanted a name so I'm putting it out there. Cassie Utah, from the state you live in and paying homage to Johnny Utah, Keanu Reeves' character from Point Break.

Gideon James

Like that Once Upon Time in the West??

Krusty “Topher”

I'm also a fan of "The Outlaw Josey Wales"

Sean Novack

The best part is you don't have to like the movie in order for me to love your reaction.

Should have first watched Clint Eastwood in his prime in a earlier Spaghetti Western film.

On a similar note, have any of you played Rockstars "Red Dead Redemption 2"? For me that's pretty high on the list for a western story.

Cassie even admitted that a lot of us may have been right: she should have watched a lot of other Westerns before this. Especially ones with Clint Eastwood. I look at it this way: she can watch them like "prequels". I'd be content with her just seeing these three: •The Good, the Bad and the Ugly •The Magnificent Seven (1960) •Tombstone

Todzilla

Ah, Unforgiven. The movie that grabs you by the hair, pushes your face into the dirt and says, "SO YOU WANT VENGEANCE, HUH? WELL HERE YOU GO! DID YOU LIKE IT?!?"

Andrew Burt

I had to see this again and with your reaction. I’m 46 seeing this maybe 10 times , just now more to it than the first time, as I have changed. Maybe you have to have more of a historical perspective, because a man like William Munny would be heroic in his time. Please watch The Last Duel for another dramatic great movie.

Will Zamora

The whole point of “Unforgiven” is all the characters have and present their own point of view on a variety of moral subjects and all believe are in the right, gunfights and violence notwithstanding, everyone else is wrong and none accept any others view. It’s all about character POV. Who’s in the right? Who’s in the wrong? And who’s unforgiven? They all are because none are willing to listen to any other POV except their own. From Little Bill to English Bob to William Munny.
