Next show?
Added 2021-10-10 12:01:01 +0000 UTCHey guys! I need help choosing the next show to watch! Here are some of the most recommended. This is a mix of a bunch of shows, but they are either miniseries and/or anthologies or shows with only 1 season. I know I'm missing quite a few but I can't put them all on here. I'm sure I'll watch a handful of these shows somewhere down the line so if your favorite doesn't come out on top, don't lose hope!

Hello Cassie, I rarely comment online. You, however, motivate me :) I encourage you to give True Detective S1 a chance some time. Ist stands out through its sophisticated acting, plot and visuals and portraits an emotional depth and atmosphere that shook me. I‘d love to see your take on it! Have you considered „Dark“ btw.? It won the rottentomatoes.com poll for best Netflix Series in 2020 over Stranger Things, House of Cards and many more. One of my all time favorites. Would be a great fit for you. Cheers from Germany

2021-12-01 11:57:45 +0000 UTCShe’s not ready for true detective. Such a good show
2021-11-28 01:12:31 +0000 UTCThese are all great fantastic suggestions. But go ahead and peruse the list of films Cassie has already seen at https://letterboxd.com/pib1/films/ . You'll see that she has already seen To Kill a Mockingbird. If she would pick any movie to see off your list, I would have her watch The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Bogie's best performance, in my mind.

2021-11-24 07:23:43 +0000 UTCI'm new here. Not new to the world, my 70th birthday is this coming Wednesday. I've been a huge movie fan my whole life and with a degree in theater I enjoy most everything. I'm not a movie snob.. I love movies. I really appreciated your look at Casablanca, Band of Brothers and 12 Angry Men. People are afraid to watch B&W movies, but some of the greatest movies ever made are B&W. I'm going to suggest a few movies here that probably won't get much traction but they're Oscar winners and not "art" films. These films sure don't deserve to fade into oblivion. Here goes. 1. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre ("We don't need no stinking badges!") 2. Mrs. Miniver. (Made just after and included the boat rescue of the English army during WW2.) 3. Shane ("Come back, Shane!") 4. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid ("Who are those guys?") 5. The Best Years of Our Lives (Made during WW2 with a surprise Oscar to a real WW2 vet.) 6. The Grapes of Wrath (Best Picture Oscar. One of the best movies ever along with #1.) 7. To Kill a Mockingbird (A book we all read in school ) 8. Rain Man ("Kmart sucks.) 9. The Misfits (M. Monroe's and C.Gable's last movie) 10. Close Encounters of the First Kind and/or E.T. (Spielberg, need I say more?) All of these movies are sooo good and, know or not, have had an influence on all of our lives. I could list 50 more but I'll wait a bit. Christopher Carr

2021-11-12 13:40:28 +0000 UTCCame here for the Firefly! Be careful not to read any spoilers at all and enjoy! You're really going to fall in love with this series!

2021-11-08 23:13:06 +0000 UTCGeneration kill is NOT band of brothers. There isn't really anything poetic or heroic about it. Also the show doesn't make alot of effort do explain millitary lingo,I run the fan page for one of the Marines, I have watched each episode a thousand times, and I have a pretty healthy knowledge of the millitary for a civilian and I still don't always understand what is going on, I can't imagine that translates well for a reaction video
