I agree, hopefully she gets that the show is more about character development and a serial where the events in an episode are not necessarily related to the next. Intended order and not release order is critical with Firefly

KJ I think this happens a lot because the people voting on these movies most likely have not seen them all so they vote what they know. Whether that is right or wrong, good or bad is a debate for another time. Most of the brackets have had great films buried... that is the down side to mob rule. I just look at it this way. I am here to experience the films I love with someone who has a great personality and an honest reaction, to watch them again with a friend. I just skip the films I don't like. I agree, you absolutely have the right to express yourself and I don't think you are wrong, maybe just overestimating the film knowledge and depth many people have.

Brown Coat here. :) I LOVE Firefly and hope it wins out in the end. Just a couple of things... One, make sure you watch it in production order not the release order. The executives made them release it out of order (not the only bad decision the suits made with this show). Second, I know you need to understand everything right away, but just be patient and it will all make sense in the end. ;) The only thing I don't like about Firefly was there was not enough of it. :)

Outside the USA, baseball and boxing are not as popular? Had there been more Soccer, rugby, and cricket films, they may have even beat Ford v Ferrari?

I'm late to the voting as usual, but I'm seeing Field of Dreams as winning so that's good. I've seen Ford V Ferrari and I liked it. In this case I vote Field of Dreams. In the losers bracket I didn't vote because I can't pick between the two - the original Rocky is very good and makes for a great reaction.

Not at all assuming her preferences about cars at all - it's a good story and she will enjoy the drama and excitement of the story line. I'm expressing my disappointment that of all the classic sports films - this bracket has Ford v. Ferrari winning.

No one is talking sabotage or living for the bracket. I'm pointing out that good movies in THIS bracket lost to the average or the unlikely. This is no Final Four where there's scrappy underrated Cinderella film her her to watch. Notable classics she should experience from this bracket that ends up being "Ford v. Ferrari". It's a good film - I have three Fords, love Shelby and I know the true story. There are better films for her to experience that are in here first. And frankly, I have the right to express myself and debate the merits of the bracket. I 'm sure she will enjoy this film regardless.

Cassie should watch whatever she wants to watch. The fact she's giving us a voice in the decision is a nice bonus that she's under no obligation to offer us.

Well said Patrick. The whole point of the channel is Cassie wanting to expand her horizons when it comes to movies so as long as she watches something she might not have before it's still a win. And if a movie loses out to another one in a bracket it doesn't mean she'll never watch it later down the road.

I was hoping Raging Bull would not come up against Rocky. It a better movie but it’s not as popular in fact I was sure it was going to be Rocky taking the winners bracket and Field of Dreams winning the losers. This has been a very strange ride.

There's no upending anything. People voted for what they wanted, that's how this works. Honestly, some people really need to lighten up and not take this so seriously. All my choices got knocked out too. It doesn't mean the bracket was sabotaged. Jeez.

The choices people have voted on have upended this bracket - not in a good way. People complaining about Raging Bull - you Clearly you don’t appreciate Scorsese, DeNiro and the gruff NY street drama.
