Exactly. When I search for reactions to 2001, I find mostly reviews by people who have studied it extensively. They are informative and fun, but not the same as watching someone discovering it. But, I won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen as a result of this poll if it means she does it with her sister and follows it shortly with 2010 which provides answers to 2001's questions. Perhaps she should privately watch the Blue Danube clip from 2001, it gives a taste of the movie with no spoilers. I read a comment on it once where they said there was a music class of young students and the teach played Blue Danube. Suddenly young boys who had seen 2001 jumped up and began twirling around the room calling it "space music." "2001" has been introducing that piece of music to the rock & rollers since 1968.

I agree 100%, and I voted for 2001, but ( unfortunately) most of the people that come to these reaction channels do not bother with anything other than popular blockbusters, and movies that have been shown in a thousand movie theaters. For example check the comments on reactors channels it is always react to the MCU or Star Wars ( screams out loud). Now I would like to see her react to Predator, but I hope that she will get to watch, and enjoy many more smaller independent films and foreign films, and the classics like 2001!

My prediction for Bracket 1 will come down to Close Encounters and Terminator and I suspect Teminator may win out although I suspect it will be close. Brack et 2 will come down to Robocop and predator, amd Robocop may edge out Predator, again , it will be close.

Cassie, ignore the YouTube critics slamming you for the Hello Fresh ad! It was really well done and funny! (I burst out laughing at the tomato eating part!) I’ve been thinking about using their service for some time now but I want to wait until fall. I don’t know if the food would stay fresh being shipped and delivered in the desert heat.

Both of my top picks made it to round two District 9, and Stargate. Jolly Good 😁 Tell Mr. Pib that he is a genius. This tournament is a hoot and a half 🙈

pitting Terminator vs Stargate is cruel. I chose the former since it was first, but it didn't spawn a successful series lasting several years like Stargate (and the beautiful Amanda Tapping /sigh)

The Arnold movies should not be here and just put them in the watch next que. After that No seeding for these is a shame Use scores from meta or imdb or somewhere. After that the best one up there is honestly DIstrict 9. If not, you aren't being honest with yourself or have not seen it. Close encounters is still one of the most overrated movies of all time. If you picked King Cong over 12 Monkeys, you can retire now.
