Haha… when the pilots and the alien ships were shooting at each other, I remember’d the pew pew pew from your Star Wars reaction and laughed. This movie came out right when The Fresh Prince ended in 1996 which is why Will looks so young. The little boy from the movie played Will’s cousin Nicky during the final season. I haven’t seen this movie in a long time and glad I watched with you and Carly.

Why are some unblurred movies okay but not others?

Thanks to you both for the fun reaction. Saw someone let you know SETI is also real. Wanted to add that they’ve been working with civilians for decades - you can share runtime on your computer by downloading a program from them so that in the background it helps work through their data faster to help find potential ET signals.

When ID4 came out it was the biggest movie of its time, long before the return of Star Wars or LOTR. Everyone was talking about this movie, I saw it at least four times in the theater and probably wore out the VHS I had. This movie was a big return for the summer blockbuster.

omg I absolutely loved this reaction and I was wicked excited to see Carly back! Your relationship with your sister is so wholesome... I love it! Plus.... your sister is hilarious! "Area Fifty oneeeee... Conspiracy theories are real!" I was dying :D I really love Independence Day. It isn't a perfect movie, it isn't a movie cinematic note, it isn't profound... but it really is a lot of fun as well as a classic of 90s action movies. One of the reasons I enjoy your reactions so much is, as a viewer, you truly have a great deal of empathy for everyone in the movies you watch. Your sister has that same level of empathy which I don't see often. Most people will care about the characters in the film, but both of you really cared about the people in the cities as they were being destroyed. It's nice to see that a genuine concern for the actual consequences for that level of destruction. Really great reaction! :D
